Boston Herald: Late US "retribution" won't stop Iranians

In fact, Iran is at war with the United States and is defeating it, writes the daily Boston Herald. Iran's goal: to crush Israel and expel Washington from the Middle East region.

The article argues that while the Joe Biden administration has said it will be held accountable for the deaths of American troops, there is little realistic chance that new bombing will harm Iran or its proxies.

The publication compares the lack of will of the Joe Biden administration with the weakness of his democratic predecessor in the White House, Barack Obama.

And the obvious delay in retaliation only played into Tehran’s hands.

    The fact that Middle Eastern countries are avoiding direct conflict with the United States by all means proves the need for nuclear weapons. If Iran or Syria had nuclear warheads, no one would dare bomb their territory. Iran itself has the ability to resist American aggression, but does not have the opportunity to win the war. It’s even worse with Syria; there are no opportunities for either resistance or victory. If there were a coalition of Arab states there, there would still be a chance, but they hate each other so much that this is impossible.
