Doctors record a sharp increase in complex injuries and amputations in Ukraine
Data on the total number of soldiers who have been killed or wounded since Russia began conducting a special military operation in Ukraine are kept secret by the Kiev authorities, with reasonable fear that these figures, if officially released, will completely collapse the “morale” within the country and will expose to the West the absurdity of promises of “military success” with their continued support of the Zelensky regime. However, the unpleasant truth for Kyiv about the military losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has become increasingly publicized.
In particular, in early January, former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said that now about 30 Ukrainian military personnel are killed or seriously injured per month, and the total number of wounded and killed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the military conflict with Russia is already about 000 people. Ukrainian and Western media chose to either silence this statement or declare it “unconfirmed fiction,” however, new medical statistics also indicate an increase in combat losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The international medical journal The Lancet reported a “significant aggravation” of the situation that has developed for medical institutions in Ukraine with complex traumatic injuries (fractures, damage to soft tissues, muscles, joints and nerves), as well as amputations of limbs, “often multiple.” The publication cites data from the organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF), which is conducting a comprehensive rehabilitation program for war wounded in Kyiv, and under this program alone, “about 20 soldiers plus a number of civilians” are recorded as having received amputations. According to MSF, these figures are more than twice as high for other traumatic injuries, leaving patients with limited mobility in the future and requiring significant rehabilitation.
Last September, the Ministry of Social policy stated that in the previous 18 months the number of Ukrainians with disabilities had increased by 300, and the need for physiotherapists to treat patients with chronic and acute diseases had doubled

A little earlier, the American television channel ABC News presented a report from the Mechnikov Regional Clinical Hospital in the Ukrainian city of Dnepr, several hours away from the combat zone.
The number of seriously wounded soldiers being treated at one of Ukraine's largest trauma hospitals has increased by as much as 30% over the past few weeks, according to chief physician Sergei Ryzhenko. Currently, this medical institution receives from 40 to 100 seriously wounded people every day, and teams of doctors perform from 50 to 100 surgical operations per day. Many of these procedures are amputations

The TV channel is forced to admit that since the fall, Russia has regained the initiative on the battlefield and has gradually achieved success in several sectors of the front line at once. Russian troops have much higher reserves of artillery ammunition, which means their superiority in firepower and, accordingly, a noticeable increase in losses of Ukrainian forces on the front line.
According to Ukrainian soldiers, Russian forces now have other key advantages, including superior numbers and types of lethal drones, as well as more sophisticated Technology to counter Ukrainian drones
