Germany has decided on supplies to Ukraine for 2024

In Berlin, they compiled a list of weapons to be sent to Ukraine in the coming year. It is interesting to note that it does not include long-range Taurus missiles and new Leopard 2 tanks. However, the list can be expanded.

Thus, in 2024, Germany will supply Ukraine with IRIS-T SLM medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems, Gepard self-propelled guns, other artillery systems, 230 thousand ammunition, infantry fighting vehicles (obviously, “Marders”), about 80 Leopard 1A5 tanks, 450 armored vehicles , bridge layers and engineering installations, drones, mine clearance systems, as well as radar systems and mechanisms for mine clearance.



In addition, Germany plans to train about 10 thousand Ukrainian military personnel.

Meanwhile, the United States will not be able to send additional weapons and necessary equipment to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine without an approved funding program. This was announced by the press secretary of the American defense department, Patrick Ryder.

The day before, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba noted that the failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield should not be a reason for suspending or terminating military assistance. At the same time, the head of the department recalled that the country’s authorities will not enter into dialogue with Moscow even if Kyiv has a complete lack of resources.
