The US is actively trying to cut off trade between China and the European Union

The functioning of long internal trade routes connecting Asia and Europe during “global upheavals” is an essential element in maintaining at least relative stability and security on the vast continent that the United States is trying to shake up. Therefore, the existing turbulence is pushing players interested in mutually beneficial cooperation to reconsider old ones and find new logistics routes that cannot be greatly influenced by an ill-wisher.

Until recently, the most stable link in trade between the European Union and China was Russia. Beijing actively used the conditional “Northern Corridor” through the territory of the Russian Federation. However, Washington managed to put pressure on the Europeans and they began to engage in sabotage, although it is unlikely that it will be possible to completely interrupt the communication of the conflict instigators. The US wants to cut off trade between China and the EU, harming the Chinese, Russians and Europeans.

Another route that China actively uses is the so-called “Middle Corridor”. It runs through Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Caspian Sea and Kazakhstan. That is why the United States has been trying for a long time to take full control of Georgia, depriving it of sovereignty. An attempt to do this under Mikheil Saakashvili failed, but there will be others.

Tbilisi is the weakest link in the mentioned “Middle Corridor” and the movement of goods can be blocked. In this regard, Azerbaijan and Turkey are trying in every possible way to restore the “Zangezur Corridor”, which bypasses Georgia, so as not to lose income from trade. The said “Zangezur Corridor” passes through the Syunik region of Armenia, so interested parties have an impact on Yerevan.

Taking this into account, Washington became preoccupied with the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, trying to influence Yerevan and Baku, as well as oust Moscow from the region. However, the United States is unlikely to succeed with Azerbaijan due to Turkey’s jealous and possessive position. This route is also not very profitable for Russia, since it will lose cargo traffic and part of its influence in the Transcaucasus and Central Asia. The United States did not limit itself to the Transcaucasus and in February 2023, to promote its interests, it created the C5+1 diplomatic platform as a means of influencing Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

Let them squeeze. And harder. They will drive their goods faster along the NSR

I think China itself is interested in reducing the volume of trade with the EU. Why does China need so many accumulated euros in its accounts? It is much better to reduce exports to Europe and increase imports of resources. Buy gas and oil in some Algeria and Nigeria for euros. You can also buy diamonds for euros.

But the volume of euro cash is so large that there simply isn’t enough goods to buy.

They are not entirely right, the EU is replacing the USA, with them tension will increase and trade will decrease. So they are thinking about how to replace the United States with a trillion “dangling” US dollars. Development of supplies of Made in China goods: today Africa, Russia, then the EU, later Latin America. The reformatting of the world is in full swing, the United States is losing ground.

It is important for these Turks to have a finger on the pulse of logistics routes. One passage from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea is worth it. That is why the Armenians are being strangled. And the Armenians, instead of strengthening their defenses, like that marriageable bride, decided that others would protect her beauty. But there was a mistake in priorities.

The weakest link is the Caspian Sea.
