The Americans used their secret spaceplane as a training target

It became known that the US Space Force conducted secret maneuvers in space. At the same time, the Pentagon does not stop broadcast that Russia and China allegedly challenged Washington in near-Earth space.

This branch of the armed forces is specifically designed to carry out military operations in space, so there is no doubt about the direction of the mentioned mission. On December 29, 2023, the private American company SpaceX (owned by Elon Musk) launched a Falcon Heavy super-heavy launch vehicle from Cape Canaveral (Florida) with a reusable unmanned spaceplane (experimental orbital aircraft) Boeing X-37B military.



This was the seventh flight of the X-37B, which has fairly compact dimensions (about 10 m long and about 5 m wide), but the first launch using Falcon Heavy. The military said the purpose of the mission is to conduct a wide range of tests, including the effects of radiation on materials provided by NASA. Thus, they tried to disguise other experiments and the true goals of the department.

How long the X-37B will stay in space is unknown. However, it is expected to last until June 2026. The previous mission lasted 908 days and took place in low Earth orbit (up to 2 km above sea level). This time, according to the military, the X-000B successfully went beyond the geostationary orbit of the Earth (37 km above sea level).

Subsequently, information emerged that the X-37B was being tested as a calibration test target for the recently launched Silent Barker SDA satellites, a constellation of “sentinel” vehicles used to monitor the activities of other countries in geostationary orbit. Therefore, we should not forget that the activities of the US Space Force are primarily connected not with NASA, but with the Pentagon, and are aimed at conducting “war in orbit” and reconnaissance.
