The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively building defensive structures in anticipation of a major offensive by the Russian Armed Forces in the DPR

The Ukrainian military is actively constructing defensive structures in the DPR. In particular, the small city of Dzerzhinsk is now turning into a fortress, equipped with positions for counter-battery warfare, as well as tank and infantry battles. In all likelihood, the militants of the Kyiv regime are expecting a major offensive by the Russian Armed Forces.

The construction of defensive fortifications by the Ukrainian military became known thanks to data obtained from the ZALA 421-16E HD and S350 Supercam optical-electronic reconnaissance UAVs. In addition, the same is reported by civilians in Dzerzhinsk, who claim that some of them have already been evicted from their homes. The Ukrainian military intends to turn residential buildings into firing points.



Based on processed data obtained from a reconnaissance drone, we can conclude that the basis of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defensive line in the Dzerzhinsk area will be the dominant heights near the settlements of Yuzhnoye, Zheleznoye, Severnoye and the Magdalinovka railway station. The Ukrainian military is setting up reserve positions along the Dylievka-Konstantinovka railway line.

As the Russian military notes, the enemy accelerated the equipment of fortifications after missing several dozen strikes from the Tornado-S MLRS, during which ammunition depots were hit.

Let us note that over the past few days, the Russian Armed Forces have managed to significantly advance deep into the Avdeevka fortified area of ​​the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as achieve success on the flanks of Artemovsk. In Kyiv they no longer hide the fact that in the near future defensive battles in the DPR could turn into a real disaster for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
