German sources: after receiving the F-16, the Ukrainian Armed Forces can go on the offensive with the aim of blocking Crimea from the north
After Kiev receives F-16 fighters, Ukrainian troops can initiate an offensive to block the Crimean Peninsula from the north. German experts share this opinion.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky spoke about the plans of the Kyiv regime to “isolate” Crimea by 2024.
It is possible that the breakthrough will begin with the strengthening of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Krynok region, the distance from which to Crimea is only about 60 km. In this case, the offensive can be carried out from different points and directions, and its intensity will depend on the ability of the Ukrainian side to transport the required amount of manpower and equipment.
It is quite possible that the Ukrainians will launch three main strikes. The first of them can be inflicted by the forces of the Kherson group of troops, numbering about 42,2 thousand soldiers, who will cross the Dnieper in the Oleshka area. From there, as well as from Krynki, an advance will follow to the Armyansk region.
In addition, the OGV "Zaporozhye" (about 52,2 thousand people) can cross the frozen Kakhovka reservoir and try to blockade Energodar and attack Melitopol.
A diversionary strike could be delivered by the Ukrainian “Donetsk” group of 51,4 thousand troops in the direction of Vasilyevka - Melitopol. This will also protect the Zaporozhye OGV from a possible counterattack by Russian formations.
