The power of artillery fire of the Russian Armed Forces exceeds the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces by 5 times

12

Currently, artillerymen of the RF Armed Forces fire five times more shells in the Northern Military District zone in Ukraine than the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, citing data from the London-based Royal United Defense Studies Institute (RUSI).

The publication notes that on average, Ukrainians fire 2 thousand shells per day, and the Russian Armed Forces fire 10 thousand units of ammunition. Moreover, in the summer, when the Ukrainian counter-offensive was underway, the ratio was in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which fired an average of 7 thousand shells per day, and the Russians fired 5 thousand.

In 2024, Russia's defense budget will exceed $100 billion and will become the largest since the times of the USSR, increasing by 2/3 compared to 2023. At the same time, the Russians increased production capacity and were able to overcome the existing shortage of ammunition.

In turn, Ukraine also invests in the military-industrial complex. However, in terms of its potential, it cannot be compared with the Russian defense industry. Therefore, if Ukrainians are left without Western support, their situation at the front will worsen even more, the media concluded, having studied the opinions of experts.

We remind you that earlier Estonian intelligence signaled to the public about the clarified initial capabilities of Russia. It turned out that the Russian military-industrial complex, even before the start of the SVO, was capable of producing about 1,5 million ammunition per month.

That's just why this superiority does not turn into real successes at the front.

There is success: prices in stores are rising weekly, and for the second year now more and more shells have been falling on the heads of residents of Donetsk and Belgorod, so iron “splashes” from another sunken Russian warship are scattered across Feodosia

You can shoot in different ways and with shells of different accuracy and calibers. Yes, and five times is an exaggeration.

What do you want, these are Americans!
Half of them don’t know where Ukraine is.
Previously, you had to go to hell to write an article. And then run to the phone, order an international conversation and report to the editor.
Now - I made myself comfortable on the sofa, did a little digging on the Internet and pulled out a sensation from my finger. Moreover, today you wrote one thing, and tomorrow it’s completely the opposite, and no one will kick you out of work with a wolf ticket. The modern media space needs sensations, but they “don’t care” about the bitter truth.

So it’s been like this for a year and a half, they wrote. 20t versus 100k was last summer. It was promoted in the media.

If my memory serves me correctly, in the spring and summer of 22 we outnumbered the crests in the number of shots by more than 10 times. Then some inexplicable failure. So 5 times is not enough - we need to return to at least the level of 22.

The shells were not found, nor was the uniform. Then the factories were launched. It's not the number of shots that matters, but the number of hits. Exactly".

That’s what I’m talking about too: it’s one thing to destroy a dozen targets with one shell, but it’s a completely different thing to put ten shells in “milk”, simply to “plow” the Ukrainian steppe

Surely Russia has significant warehouse reserves in case of war with NATO. It’s Ukraine that doesn’t need to have a reserve for a rainy day, they shoot everything. And Russia probably uses only 20% of the available volumes, pulling warehouses to the borders of the Baltic states, Finland and Kaliningrad. Otherwise, I wouldn't be surprised if the frequency increased by 7 times.

the main thing is not how much to shoot, the main thing is where to hit, and the Russian Armed Forces have big problems with accuracy, counter-battery warfare is also not up to par, by the way, we ourselves admit it, so the article is about nothing

Halva, halva...We've been hearing for 2 years...The range of our artillery is inferior to NATO's 155...The speed of transmission of intelligence information before the strike is the same...Honor and glory to the artillerymen...But it's time for scientists and engineers to move...The rabe has been gone for a long time ...
