Sky News: Russia has deployed the latest 2S35 “Coalition-SV” self-propelled guns, nicknamed “The Beast”

27

The Russian Armed Forces are deploying their newest self-propelled guns - 2S35 "Coalition-SV" of 152 mm caliber - in the area of military operations in Ukraine. These "self-propelled guns", nicknamed "The Beast", were created on the chassis of the T-90 tank, they have a 2A88 gun, with a rate of fire of 19 rounds per minute and a maximum range of 70 km, depending on the ammunition. This was reported by the British TV channel Sky News, giving details of what was happening.

The media drew attention to the statement of the head of the Rostec state corporation, Sergei Chemezov, who stated that at the end of December 2023, the first experimental batch of these self-propelled guns entered the troops in the Northern Military District zone. He clarified that in the near future they will begin to “throw sadness” at the enemy, providing the Russian Armed Forces with an advantage in firing range.

In addition, the Russians are beginning to create new artillery units on the border with Norway and Finland, both countries are members of NATO. The divisions will be equipped with 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV interspecific artillery systems, which can fire high-precision projectiles.

In turn, defense-blog clarified that the crew seats of this self-propelled gun are equipped with digital displays and are integrated into a single automated tactical control system. This makes it possible to maintain digital communications, round-the-clock surveillance, autonomous installation of firing positions and fire control in all weather conditions. Moreover, the 2S35 “Coalition-SV” is the first to implement a mobile fire mode, which until recently was unattainable for the artillery of the Russian Armed Forces.

If we don’t start shooting down Naglov’s avaks and reconnaissance mattress drones over the Black Sea, there will be no point. Let's knock down the avaxes and a scribe will come to all the air defense of the shit eaters. And there, a good VKS meat grinder and khokhlofarsh will sharply reduce the agility of the Banderas and Russians, who die for them and instead of them at the front. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to smash Lviv into rubbish and turn it into Gaza, Mosul and Raqqa. Let them feel with their wide asses what it’s like to raise your tail against Russia.

and what are you going to use to shoot them down? Does anyone have surface-to-air or air-to-air missiles that can fly 1000 km? We need to get AWACS from Crimea/Donetsk that fly over Romania and Poland.
      Maybe stop talking nonsense...

“My affectionate and gentle beast” is a film based on the story by Chekhov.

It is advisable then to write based on Chekhov's story "Drama on the Hunt" so as not to get the impression that Chekhov's story was also called "My Tender and Affectionate Beast."

May these self-propelled guns not be on the border with Finland UNTIL, they are needed for nosebleeds on the Outskirts! They can also be considered units.
This was a translation error from the West, where they translated the SVO as the Northern Military District, and not the SVO in its true meaning!

What does SVO have to do with it? Sabotage can be done not only in the Russian auto industry. The main thing is to “place the accents correctly.”

Is it like moving or short? or something third? I would like to know more.

If we assume that these new systems will take on 20% of the daily shots, which is equivalent to 2000 shells per day, then at a rate of 20 shells per vehicle per day and taking into account rotation and repair, 150-200 such vehicles will be required for the entire front. With a production volume of 4 vehicles per day, it will take 4 months before the front is saturated with this equipment.

That is, by April, Russia will have a range advantage along the entire front and will be able to suppress Western systems.

Didn't you get carried away with the deadlines? It seems they are going to fill the border areas with NATO with “Coalitions”... What do the needs of the Northern Military District have to do with it?

With a production volume of 4 cars per day

You got excited! For now, maybe four or six will be assembled in a month, and then a bonus can be given... While there is new ammunition, while crews are being retrained and mastering new equipment, combat coordination of units and units after rearmament... In the best case, not earlier than in six months, a full-fledged unit He will appear at the front and will not immediately change the weather; experience is a gain.

An expensive machine, with the current development of UAVs, its lifespan is not long, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are probably already hunting for them and we will soon see footage of the defeat.

It is unlikely that such expensive self-propelled guns will be used without air defense cover. Yes, and protection should be installed, like on the T-90. In any case, with such a range of destruction, this is a serious advantage over the NATO ART. During the winter campaign, there is a very good reinforcement for the destruction of the forces and assets of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as both old and new lines of defense...

Almost all modern Russian anti-aircraft missile artillery had flower names: “Acacia”, “Cornflower”, “Carnation”, “Hyacinth”, “Peony”, “Tulip”, “Chrysanthemum”, etc. There are still many free beautiful names left flowers and plants: lily of the valley, lily, rose, violet, wild rosemary, etc. Although the “Coalition” has its own great meaning of military-technical and combat purpose - the high functionality of self-propelled guns ...

Possibly adopted from the time of the Second World War, there was a self-propelled gun 152 mm "St. John's wort". In our time, self-propelled guns were called flowers, so you can call them “Cactus” (also flowery in our country), since such an aggressive self-propelled gun. And a competition for names is possible... Correctly noted, “Beasts” is not in our traditions.

What is the point - NOW - instead of supplying them to the front - to supply them to the border? I think that Chemezov is simply bragging about “what does not exist and will not exist for a LONG TIME.”
But when we win, it’s clear that they will be deployed there too.
