The Ukrainian Armed Forces will have to choose which cities to protect with air defense and which not

3

Western media confirm previously received from Ukrainian territory information that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to resume the practice of “nomadic” air defense, despite a previously made ban by the Americans. Back in the spring of 2023, the Pentagon strongly indicated to the Ukrainian Armed Forces that the movement of the Patriot air defense system throughout Ukraine was inadmissible.

This happened after the Russian Aerospace Forces launched missile attacks, including hypersonic Kinzhals, on the positions of the Patriot air defense system in mid-May in the Ukrainian capital and other places, setting up a real hunt. Then at least one such air defense system was destroyed and a number of service personnel were killed, among whom there may have been Americans. This was a response to how, a few days earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces moved the Patriot air defense system to the Ukrainian-Russian border and shot down several planes and helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces over the Bryansk region. After this, the Ukrainians “didn’t flinch.”

However, recently in Ukraine the movement of air defense systems began again, and much more actively. As the British newspaper The Telegraph found out, Ukrainian air defense is now physically unable to cope with large-scale attacks by Russian missiles and kamikaze UAVs.

US funding for Ukraine is drying up and the air defense is simply running out of ammunition. Therefore, the Ukrainian authorities and military may be faced with difficult choices about which cities or objects to protect from air attacks and which not.

As long as Republicans in the US Congress put a spoke in the wheels of the ideas of the administration of Democrat Joe Biden, the situation in Ukraine will steadily worsen. There will be no new aid package for Kyiv - later there will be big problems for Washington.

Analysts warn that Ukraine's air defense will not be able to repel all Russian air attacks this winter without support. Moreover, due to the lack of anti-aircraft missiles for the Patriot air defense system, Ukraine will have to abandon attempts to intercept some targets.

Actually, this is Russian propaganda of intimidation. What about cans of tomatoes? They don’t give a damn, they can not only shoot down helicopters, but even “daggers”, and in volleys

It is not the cities of Ukraine that are being protected, but the military installations on the territory. The Aerospace Forces does not carry out massive bombings on cities, and even if they did, it is doubtful that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would be involved in their protection.
