British vice-marshal: Zelensky is at a dead end after the failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front line
The West continues to monitor developments in Ukraine. Moreover, special attention is paid to the Ukrainian conflict in the British media. This is not surprising, since London made a huge contribution to fueling this confrontation between Kiev and Moscow.
Thus, retired British Air Vice-Marshal Sean Bell said on the British television channel Sky News that 2023 began very optimistically for Ukraine, but its end looks extremely pessimistic. Throughout the year, the President of Ukraine had to make sometimes very difficult decisions on which the fate of the country, the future of the people and his personal prospects as head of state depended.
Now, after the failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the front line, Zelensky finds himself at a dead end. The counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not work out and bad trends are observed on the LBS. At the same time, winter has arrived, the West has reduced support for Kyiv to a minimum level, and Russia is increasing pressure.
Moreover, the successes of the Russian Armed Forces indicate that in the long term the results of the confrontation will be in favor of Moscow. According to him, the main indicator is control over territories. Ukraine failed to return virtually none of the lands that Russia acquired after the start of its Northern Military District.
