Russian troops are conducting assault operations south of the Avdeevka sewage treatment plant in the direction of the Ivushka gardening partnership. Some of the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in this area have moved into the gray zone, while Russian fighters have advanced along a cascade of ponds where heavy fighting continues.

In Stepovo, Russian units have entrenched themselves on the outskirts of the village; to the north, infantry groups of the Russian Armed Forces are attacking to improve the tactical position in the direction of the forest belts. Fighting continues near the village of Ocheretino; during the attacks, the Russians advanced.



Heavy fighting is taking place near Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye. There, Russian units are storming the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In the private sector in the south of Avdievka, fighters of the Russian Armed Forces have consolidated their positions in previously occupied positions and continue attacks.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its morning report stated that the Russian Armed Forces, with the support of aviation, are trying to cordon off Avdievka. Over the past 32 hours, 15 attacks were counted there: 17 attacks were carried out east of Novobakhmutovka and Avdeevka, XNUMX near Severny, Pervomaisky and Nevelsky.

In the evening report, the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced 21 attacks: 11 – east of Novobakhmutovka and Avdeevka, 10 – in the area of ​​Pervomaiskoye and Nevelskoye.

    According to the Turks, last night the Ukrainian army took advantage of bad weather conditions and attempted to move large reinforcements of between 4500 and 6000 men to Avdiivka.

    Despite the fact that the weather conditions were not favorable for surveillance using a UAV, the preparation was discovered by the Russian side in advance thanks to field reconnaissance.

    The reinforcement unit, attempting to approach from 50 to 60 different groups from three main routes, was heavily bombarded by gliding bombs, artillery fire, and guided rounds from the Tornado-S and Uragan MLRS.

    This massive ambush reportedly destroyed most of the reinforcements, as well as almost all the equipment they brought.

    This was perhaps the largest loss suffered by the Ukrainian army since the beginning of the war. It was the largest ambush of the entire war.
    Thus, an important development occurred, showing that Russia had effectively integrated its intelligence and joint military activities and effectively eliminated bureaucratic irregularities and length of the chain of command.

    This radical move by Ukraine to protect Avdiivka also failed.
    The attempt to move a brigade-sized unit into a narrow area, taking advantage of bad weather, in the hope that the Russian Armed Forces would not notice or be unable to respond effectively, demonstrates the level of command level sent by the United States to Ukraine.
