Large-scale attack on Ukraine: Patriot air defense system position area destroyed in Kyiv

26

The Russian Aerospace Forces continue to destroy objects of the Kyiv regime: sources report arrivals in Odessa, Kyiv, Volyn and other Ukrainian regions. In particular, there were at least three hits in the Odessa port.

The sounds of explosions are also heard in the port of Odessa.

Along with this, Russian troops are launching ballistic missile attacks against targets in the Kyiv, Chernigov, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions. The Russian Armed Forces will use Iskander and X-22/32. At the same time, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, confirmed arrivals in the Podolsk region, where more than 50 industrial facilities are located.

Also in Kyiv, the position area of the Patriot air defense complex was hit. As a result of hitting the air defense system, the ammunition detonated and the missiles spontaneously scattered.

We have never seen so many targets on our monitor at the same time.

– said the speaker of the Ukrainian Air Force Yuriy Ignat a few minutes ago.

While repelling a Russian strike, Ukrainian air defense hit the roof of a multi-story residential building in Kyiv.

In addition, about six launches were carried out towards the targets of the Kyiv regime in the Lviv and Volyn regions. There are about 30 important military-technical facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including: the 124th joint support center, the 25th training center (25 NC, military unit A1666), military unit A0284 - 80th airborne assault brigade, 1st Galicia-Volynsk radio engineering brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 540th anti-aircraft missile regiment, 16th separate army aviation brigade, Brody airfield, 184th training center - base for the 214th separate special battalion OPFOR, as well as the 128th OGShBr in Mukachevo.

    Very good! crests no longer have Patriots! fellow The President also spoke about the destruction of one complex - now the second one. The crests had only two - one from the States, the second from Germany. Now you can fly freely!

      The third came from Germany in mid-December. So they still have one air defense system left.

        Those are only the announced deliveries, remember, they used just the launchers with dissimilar radars when hitting the planes in Kherson. Who knows how many launchers they have.

      In fact, they gave them as many as 16 of them.

        Who gave them 16 complexes? And when. Don't talk nonsense. The USA itself has only 31 complexes - 1116 launchers.

    Have they gotten the Patriots in the Kherson area? Why are the lights and eat still on? Is Russia planning a large multi-prong attack when the power and gas area's are hit?

    The messages are too bravura and pathetic. The Russian media have already reported so many times about successes without providing any evidence that it seems that someone is passing off wishful thinking as reality.

      So it’s not Crimea there. For leaking photo reports, the Saloreich may have something cut off, and publicly. especially for American air defense. The life of the aborigines in ruins is not worth the loss of the image of the American military-industrial complex and broken contracts. hi

      And confirmation comes not only from the Russian media, but also from the Ukrainians, in a number of their public works they talk about defeat.

    According to NATO experts, Ukrainian air defenses spent more anti-aircraft missiles in a few hours today than in the previous 28 days, but were able to shoot down only a small portion of the missiles.

    It is estimated that about 1200 (!) missiles were fired, costing $70 million at the lowest estimate and $200 million at the highest estimate.

    During the two years of war, NATO generals and their Ukrainian subordinates never learned how to fight. So much money spent on saturating air defense and all to no avail.

    Also in Kyiv, the position area of the Patriot air defense complex was hit.

    An entire area? Nuclear strike or what? Well, what bullshit! If it took a significant hit, it might have hit the Patriot’s ammunition depot, which wasn’t too bad either. Those who are interested in air defense can read on the Internet what a Patriot consists of. It consists of almost a dozen units, which are dispersed over a fairly large area. Those. It is almost impossible to destroy everything.

      Read the positional area carefully. Those. They hit the position and apparently actually hit the missile warehouse... Nowhere is it written that they destroyed...

      These launchers are scattered. And the complex has only one radar and one command post.

        Not this way.

        The battery contains the following components:

        combat control point (personnel - two operators and a signalman);
        radar station (radar) for detecting air targets;
        transport launchers - 4-8 units;
        antenna mast kit - main communication unit;
        interceptor missiles (PAC-2 or PAC-3);
        power plant (electric generators).

        The complex contains 9 batteries. And the total number of control and radar stations is slightly larger - 10 per complex.

      There is not much data on the Dagger, but the Iskander (a missile that seems to be similar) has cassette versions.
      The fragmentation device has 54 elements, covering an area of about two football fields.
      The cumulative-fragmentation and thermobaric variants have less coverage.
      In terms of distance to Kyiv, Iskander is quite applicable. If you cover several critical units from the Patriot composition, it is the same as destroying it entirely. It won't be restored quickly.
      And for such a purpose, it’s not a pity to have 2-3 Iskanders.

      The dagger does not need an accurate hit on the Patriot. At an altitude of 1-1,5 km, depending on the instructions, a high-explosive fragmentation charge (shrapnel) is “released”, covering an area of 3-5 km in radius on the ground. In the next thread, the “engineer” gave a calculation that at the speeds of the Dagger, a red-hot landmine has a destructive force equal to a 122-caliber projectile. That is, the Dagger pierces through everything that comes in its way, not to mention Patricks. It was after the first “violence” by the Daggers of the Patricks that the rhetoric of the West changed to “peace negotiations”. It's only the beginning.

      Yes, it is enough to destroy the radar (a very expensive one) and everything else turns into exhibits. And then the radar and a number of launchers were destroyed, and missiles were even observed scattering. You can find out what a region is and what a positional region is on the Internet.
      Speaking of defeat, the Ukrainians are spreading their thoughts.

    On December 29, Russian troops struck Ukrainian warehouses where Storm Shadow and SCALP long-range missiles were stored. In addition, the Russian Armed Forces attacked airfields where aircraft were located to launch these missiles.

    You are confusing the complex and the launchers included in it. There were only 2 or 3 complexes

      Well, she suffered too. If the Patriot’s positions are right in the urban areas of Kyiv (our representatives at the UN say this), and we hit the squares (as the respected Etoyavsemhi says), the civilians get it. It's clear. The forest is being cut down and the chips are flying.
