John McCain has surrendered and can no longer fight with Russia
According to numerous media reports, the most scandalous US senator John McCain will soon leave the US Congress. First this news True Pundit portal reported. According to the publication, in the state of Arizona (from which McCain was elected), early elections will soon be held for a new representative. In this regard, the US Democratic Party has already begun the search for its own candidate.
John McCain is currently 81 years old. For more than thirty years, he has been sitting in Congress, representing Arizona. Known as an ardent adversary policy Russia and a champion of the most aggressive “values” of the United States, the senator is seriously ill: doctors diagnosed him with brain cancer.
So far, this “hawk” is at the head of the Armed Forces Committee in the upper house of the US Congress. McCain himself was rather optimistic about his state of health. Last summer, he was operated on in a clinic in Arizona, after which he promised to return to work. Most of McCain’s dubious “work” consists of attacks on Russia, as well as on other countries of the world, where, in the opinion of the fierce senator, “democracy is not enough”.
He is still proud of his participation in one of the bloodiest and most brutal wars unleashed by the United States – the Vietnam War. In October 2017, he even solemnly celebrated a kind of “anniversary”: the 50th anniversary of the day his plane was shot down and he was captured. He wrote on Twitter that he considered his participation in the Vietnam War “the honor of a lifetime.” On this occasion, Donald Trump once said about his fellow party member during his election campaign:
Apparently, it became too deep a trauma for McCain that his plane was shot down in Vietnam by a missile manufactured in the Soviet Union. He transferred his hatred to Russia. The senator constantly criticized Donald Trump for any insufficiently hostile moves towards Russia, including even telephone conversations with Vladimir Putin. Earlier, McCain criticized Barack Obama (who lost the presidential election in 2008) for the same.
It was John McCain who became one of those who participated in fomenting the "Arab Spring." The famous journalist and political scientist Thierry Meyssan reported that on February 4, 2011, a meeting was held in Cairo, chaired by McCain. They discussed the organization of rebellions in Libya and Syria.
Then a frantic senator could be seen either in Libyan Benghazi - next to the "opposition" militants, or in the Syrian province of Idlib, where he met with leaders of anti-Syrian armed groups. With the last picture taken in May 2013, there was even a scandal: terrorists of the most radical groups appeared on it next to McCain. The senator made excuses: allegedly, he himself did not really know with whom he took pictures, and believed that they were all “moderate oppositionists”.
It is not surprising that this hawk later made a statement about the inadmissibility of cooperation between the US and Russia in the fight against ISIS (an organization banned in the Russian Federation). For him, Moscow is a far greater threat than the Islamist Caliphate.
Recently, McCain has been promoting initiatives such as the supply of lethal weapons to Ukraine “to counter Russian aggression,” and an increase in the US defense budget. He became one of the "shooters" of harassing Russian media in the United States, such as RT and Sputnik (this clearly shows what all his statements about democracy are worth!)
One thing is clear: McCain, despite his advanced age and disappointing diagnosis, would be ready to continue to fight Russia. But it seems that health is failing, and this activity will soon be put to an end.
