As it turned out, not only in Honor were “fired up” with the idea of producing gadgets with a hole in the screen. On the eve of the Korean giant Samsung presented its first smartphone model with the "notorious hole" - Galaxy A8s.
Although similar technology allows you to completely get rid of the frames, the latter in the Galaxy A8s are still visible. In addition, the device has a relatively wide "chin", and the hole for the front camera, located in the upper left corner, turned out to be quite large.
Otherwise, the novelty met the expectations of fans of gadgets from Samsung. The new model uses the Infiniti-O display for the first time. The screen size is 6,4 inches with a resolution of 2340x1080 pix. The hardware performance is provided by the Snapdragon 710 chip, as well as 6 or 8 GB (depending on the model) of RAM. The device’s internal storage holds 128 GB of information. The Galaxy A8s camera consists of three modules: the main 24 MP, telephoto 10 MP and the auxiliary sensor 5 MP. The front-facing selfie sensor also has a resolution of 24 megapixels.
In addition, the body of the novelty is covered on both sides with 3D glass, which allows the device to change the shade, depending on the lighting. On the back panel is a fingerprint scanner. The battery capacity is 3300 mAh. The gadget is controlled via Android 8.1 Oreo, has a USB-C port, but, unfortunately, is completely devoid of a headphone jack.
According to the information received, the price of the innovative Samsung Galaxy A8s will be known on December 21.
