Putin’s new weapon: US senators demand urgent negotiations with Russia

5
The unpretentious animation and unobtrusive story of President Putin about the achievements of the Russian military-industrial complex turned out to be quite enough to change the mood in the American elites.

US senators Jeff Merkley, Diane Feinstin, Edward Markey and Bernie Sanders called on United States Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to "immediately begin negotiations" with Russia on strategic security.

The strategic dialogue between the US and Russia became most relevant after President Putin’s speech on March 1, when he mentioned several new types of nuclear weapons that are reportedly being developed in Russia

- said in a letter to the US Secretary of State.

To an unexpected peacefulness, a group of senators was compelled by the prospect of being defenseless against the renewed nuclear potential of the Russian Federation. The seriousness and reality of the threat to national security in the United States was confirmed before the Senate by John Rood, US Under Secretary of Defense.

The Russian Sarmat missile, hypersonic nuclear weapons, military lasers and nuclear submarine drones - all this so worried about the American senators that they called for negotiations with Vladimir Putin to begin, despite the ongoing differences over Syria and Ukraine.

Senators of the United States of America are also people. They are well aware that a good word and Colt are better than just a good word.
