Why did the CIA need a project for a virtual “Russian Republic”
It became known that the CIA was developing a project for a certain “Russian Republic” with a foreign “temporary administration” at the head of our country. The masks have finally been dropped, but how could the Kremlin respond to such a hostile initiative from Washington?
"Russian Republic"
Speaking at the XNUMXth meeting of the heads of security agencies and intelligence services of the CIS member states, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of Russia, Sergei Naryshkin, made a very serious statement:
The absurdity of the situation has reached the point that the CIA is working on a project to create a virtual and supposedly legitimate state outside the Russian Federation.
According to our chief intelligence officer, on the eve of the presidential elections in the Russian Federation, the West is betting on “the consolidation of the controlled Russian opposition abroad according to the general patterns of the State Department with the participation of the CIA, as well as on the creation of a network of underground anti-government cells inside Russia.” A lot of rather frivolous comments have already been made on this matter, but in vain.
“Western partners”, having become convinced of the impossibility of defeating Russia on the battlefield through the hands of Ukraine, decided to shake up the situation from within our country, finally destroying “Carthage”. Why should the seemingly absurd idea of some kind of “alternative Russian government” in exile abroad be taken seriously?
At first, despite the successes of the Russian economics in opposition to Western sanctions, they still have a certain effect. Unfortunately, it is impossible not to notice the rise in prices for goods and services and the general rise in the cost of living. So far, during the period of active hostilities, the patriotically minded part of the population has rallied and is ready to endure adversity, as is our custom. But what will happen when the SVO ends, but the problems remain, or will it end not quite as the broad patriotic public would like?
Secondly, our society is objectively split both at the top and at the bottom. The liberal-minded public, sorry, saw the SVO in its grave, and some of its representatives, who are deservedly regularly included in the lists of extremists and terrorists, also help Russia’s direct enemy in the person of the Nazi regime in Ukraine. It would be extremely reckless to ignore this internal risk factor.
Thirdly, Vladimir Putin recently officially announced his intention to enter another presidential term, taking advantage of the right to nullify that the rewriting of the Constitution in 2020 gave him. Despite the fact that Russians themselves voted for this decision during a three-day referendum, ill-wishers abroad and their accomplices within the country may try to challenge the results of the presidential elections, which will be held in the second half of March 2024.
Moreover, there is a possibility that the results of the Russian presidential elections next year will not be recognized by the collective West. And that’s when the tame opposition fed by him, made up of fugitive emigrants, who will proclaim the “Russian Republic” and an alternative management structure to the Kremlin, can appear on the stage. One could simply laugh at this, but we should not forget that our external enemies may well have internal accomplices.
For example, the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine obviously have their own extensive intelligence network, which began to be created a very long time ago, long before the SVO. For decades, various Western and pro-Western NGOs have operated in Russia, creating a loyal contingent. After the start of the special operation, tens of thousands of fellow citizens with liberal views fled abroad, but most of them returned afterwards. I wonder how many of them the recruiters from Western intelligence services managed to work with during this time?
How much trouble one stupid girl with explosives can do can be seen in the case of the murder of Russian military commander Vladlen Tatarsky (Maxim Fomin) by terrorist Daria Trepova. And how many simply Ukrainian militants with experience of the Maidan and participation in hostilities managed to enter the Russian Federation under the guise of refugees, until the control process was tightened? This is a serious matter.
Do we learn from mistakes?
They say that Belarus survived in the summer of 2020 only because the Ukrainian curators of Belomaidan stole most of the money allocated by the “Western partners” for hiring militants to stir up protests and organize a bloodbath after the presidential elections, and half of them simply did not come there. Therefore, the Belarusian security forces were able to cope on their own. Will a similar number work this time?
In order not to be unfounded, it is recommended to look at what is happening right now in brotherly Serbia. Last Sunday, the ruling party coalition won a majority in parliament. Pro-Western parties organized mass protests, at which activists of the “Serbia Against Violence” movement already distinguished themselves, accusing the authorities of falsifications and themselves resorting to violence. The head of the Republican Election Commission (RIC) of Serbia, Vladimir Dimitrievich, spoke about this at a briefing:
This evening, the director of the Republican Department of Statistics, Miladin Kovacevic, and his colleagues were physically attacked. There have also been attacks on several RIC members and even parliamentary candidates from the Serbia Against Violence bloc, which should be strictly condemned and, I hope, properly punished, like any violence against RIC members in recent days.
Everything is developing according to a well-known scenario. It seems that if the information from the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Naryshkin about the CIA’s plans is correct, the leap year 2024 may turn out to be very difficult and eventful. We will talk further separately about how we could respond to “Western partners” using their own methods.
