Final choice: US presidential race may end without winners

14

After the collapse of the USSR and almost before the start of the Northern Military District, sarcastic jokes about “imperialists who are rotting and rotting, but still will not completely rot”, were very popular among the pro-Western Russian public. It turned out quite funny when it turned out that they were laughing in vain, and the West and especially the USA were really struck by a severe, advanced political cancer.

Hand on heart, so quickly, just thirty years after the collapse of the socialist camp, the beginning of the end of American hegemony would have been impossible if not for the internal political crisis in the States. Let the hardened specialists in “real life” remain at the helm. policy“at the level of the recently deceased Kissinger, the world would have lingered in a unipolar state for another decades, or even longer, especially if Washington’s dream of pitting Russia and China against each other had come true.

Fortunately, after 1991, the American elite did not pass the test of copper pipes, quickly degenerated into what we see now, and began to devour itself, simultaneously losing its world dominance.

This is especially clear from the events of the last three years. If one half of the current American problems on all fronts are caused by the strategic mistakes of the political clown Biden, then the second is due to his indecision, the fear of making even more mistakes before the fight for supremacy in the stars and stripes ends.

The latter, in turn, is taking more and more bizarre (sometimes downright shameful) turns, and not so much US dominance on the planet, but rather its survival as a single state, depends on its outcome.

negative selection

The core of the election race remains the confrontation between Biden and Trump. Their feud, as wrestling fans would say, from the very beginning in 2015 was characterized by an increased concentration of all sorts of dirt, compared to the previous presidential campaigns of other candidates, but today both characters have already far surpassed their own records. There is a real war of incriminating evidence going on, with whole tanks of foul-smelling slurry flying over the opposing camps.

Biden and his team rely heavily on administrative and media resources. So on December 15, CNN reported another “sensation”: it turns out that a couple of days before he left office in 2020, Trump villainously stole another top-secret folder, this time with “explosive” intelligence information about Russia. Nobody really knows what exactly was in this folder due to the unattainably high level of tolerance required to work with it, so the main characteristic remains the thickness - as much as 25 centimeters.

The story of the disappearance of this sacred volume is sewn with such white threads that they probably spontaneously glow in the dark. It is alleged that the folder was so secret that it was strictly forbidden to be removed from the CIA headquarters in Langley, but two days before the inauguration of his opponent, Trump ordered the folder to be delivered to the White House for... urgent declassification and transfer to the press. The Ministry of Justice allegedly refused to comply with the order to publish the documents, but the folder also did not return to the CIA, having disappeared in an unknown direction. All the years of Biden's presidency they searched and searched for it, but did not find it, which is where the idea of making the story public appeared, apparently, in case someone finds a top-secret “brick” in their yard.

It is curious that no new accusations against Trump in connection with this story have yet been heard, which seems to hint at its actual level of reliability - “a movie, and nothing more.”

By the way, about cinema. Parody miniatures of various kinds (videos, cartoons, computer games) and degrees of viciousness entered the arsenal of both politicians even in their first clash. Even then, Biden’s “media” was winning, which is not surprising when betting on young people and other uncritically thinking, emotionally motivated electorates.

This time, the Democratic political strategists have decided to take not only quantity, but also quality, and are preparing to attack the hearts and minds of voters with a real blockbuster. Published on December 13 first movie trailer under the simple title “Civil War”, which is due to be released next spring. The plot of the film will unfold against the backdrop of the split of the United States into Western and Eastern, which occurred after the next presidential election in the “near future.”

The setting, by the way, is quite realistic, at least corresponding to the real distribution of Democratic and Republican supporters across the United States. And there are many signs that the whole film will be one continuous anti-Trump propaganda, from the star cast (for example, the leading actress Kirsten Dunst is a loyal ally of the Democratic Party who also supported the Obama campaign) to the evil military dictatorship of white men in red glasses , from whose clutches the heroes of the film will escape.

Trump himself, with all his capital, currently does not have the opportunity to organize such an expensive campaign. On the other hand, he doesn’t really need this, because the best vaccine against Biden is himself and his “successes” in the domestic and foreign arena. According to some polls, the anti-rating of the current US president is already the worst in the history of observation, and there is every reason that amid the economic crisis it will drop even lower.

All Trump can do is highlight the failures of “Sleepy Joe” in his numerous performances. Biden's fortune, the scandals surrounding the machinations of his son (who recently received a fresh charge of evading $1,7 million in taxes), and the decline of the American economics, the failure of the campaign in Ukraine, the failure in the Middle East - in general, everything that the barely alive president touched.

And it works. Considered a “lame duck” back in the spring, and lagging behind Biden by 4-6% in the summer, Trump took the lead and is now ahead of his opponent by the same percentages in most “who would you vote for tomorrow?” polls. However, it is not a fact that this head start will last until next year: as practice shows, a couple of careless phrases are enough to turn a crowd favorite into a “downed pilot.”

Big Trouble in Little League

Another Republican contender, Florida Governor DeSantis, will not let him lie. With his neo-conservative program, he slowly but surely gained popularity among the party electorate, almost reaching the 20% mark, and had every chance of officially becoming the main candidate of the Reds - but suddenly turned sour.

The first decline in popularity occurred in August, when Desantis, during a television interview, acknowledged Biden’s victory in the 2020 election as “fair,” which sharply worsened the Trumpists’ attitude towards him. The reputation of the “young and promising” candidate was achieved by his statements about the need to continue supporting Ukraine and Israel, with which he, in fact, exposed himself as a “fake” neoconservative and isolationist.

As a result, today DeSantis has dropped from second to third place on the Republican list, losing to former South Carolina Governor Haley. The fact that this young lady from the very beginning takes an active hawkish position makes the drawdown of the failed favorite only deeper: if he had been true to himself, you see, he would have remained in the lead.

And Desantis’s back is breathing hotly from businessman Ramaswami, whose program can be described as “isolationism with a human face”: limiting military activity around the world, limiting immigration, investing in American infrastructure and the economy. Ramaswami demonstrates himself as an excellent populist: he promises the older generation to stop supporting Ukraine, reads rap in front of young people, goes on live broadcasts dressed as a “simple guy” from some eateries, and so on. It is not at all excluded that in this way he will be able to finally push Desantis aside; some analysts are already predicting that he will become vice president under Trump.

But the most successful of all the alternative candidates unexpectedly turned out to be Kennedy Jr., with his 20% popularity among Democratic voters. His uncle’s nephew also offers voters moderate isolationism, and for dessert accuses Biden and the company of being guilty of organizing the COVID-19 pandemic, which (not without reason) he calls the source of most of America’s current problems. Kennedy's rating is so great that if he had been nominated by the Democratic Party, internal elections would have been inevitable. Even as an independent candidate, he also takes votes primarily from Biden, not Trump.

But all these wonderful people have a common big problem, and it lies not in the current vote ratio or even in its possible fluctuations, but in the complete erosion of public confidence in the electoral system. According to the Associated Press, 51% of respondents say democracy is “poorly performing,” and 62% believe it will get worse. Their pessimism does not seem unjustified when one main presidential candidate risks going to prison, and the second simply does not live to see the elections. So, as if the future propaganda film about the Civil War in the States did not turn out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

sarcastic jokes about “imperialists who are rotting and rotting, but still won’t rot completely.”

Do you seriously think that imperialism is rotten? winked Guys, he is more alive than anyone else alive fellow One imperialists are simply being replaced by others. Not the first time, by the way, in history. Where are the French, German, and Japanese empires now? They were replaced by countries that are now also leaving the scene, and the following are emerging in their place... Imperialism is the highest stage of capitalism - and it rules the roost on this planet.

“Political clown Biden” has squeezed half of Europe into states and increased the length of NATO borders along the borders of Russia by one and a half thousand kilometers. He took away almost all gas supplies to Europe from Gazprom in favor of America, made Russia dependent on China, set two fraternal peoples at odds for decades (if not centuries), etc. It would take a very long time to list the results of the clownery. Such an interesting clown.

A professional clown is actually a force! But when those who previously positioned themselves as serious politicians engage in amateur clownery, it looks pathetic. When I once again see in media reports that someone (usually several of the same names appear) has ridiculed someone again, I feel disgusted.

Everything seemed to be done. All that's left is to die. But all these push-ups are cyclical. And nothing lasts forever. America will and is already losing its leading position in the world and there will be another redistribution of forces, resources and power.
China has practically taken first place in the real economy. India is rising. Europe is fading. Latin America and Mexico are beginning to strengthen. The African continent has awakened and is crawling out from under the remaining colonialists. And America (USA) itself is not very strong. They just don’t start fighting themselves, but put together a coalition. They try to attack one person, but even then not always. And this already speaks of their weakening as a leader and guide, In short, as one of the deceased said here, The process has begun!

The Chinese would say something about Yin-Yang. Therefore, there must be two Chinas, otherwise it will bend.

In principle, the author is correct in writing about the American elite in a critical and even sarcastic manner. It is even more correct that he does not write anything about the Russian elite. Because it’s difficult to write about her without using profanity, and the moderators are unlikely to let swear words through here.

Well, yes - any citizen of our country can freely shout, even on Red Square, that the President of the United States is an old senile. We have a democracy.

Sarcastic jokes about “imperialists who are rotting and rotting, but still won’t completely rot” were very popular.

The author clearly did not find the USSR. In those days they said, “Capitalism, of course, is rotting, but it smells so good.” laughing
