What targets were the Kinzhals hunting for during recent strikes on Ukraine?

The Russian Armed Forces continue to launch missile attacks on military-industrial facilities of the Kyiv regime. For this purpose, among others, hypersonic missiles “Dagger” are used. One of their targets was American Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems.

Back in April of this year, the United States supplied Ukraine with two batteries of the MIM-104 Patriot air defense system, advising them to place them at a relative distance from the front line. Missile systems were located near Kyiv - one of them, while repelling a Russian attack, fired 32 missiles with zero results. At the same time, the Daggers hit one battery, the cost of which reaches $1 billion.

The other was placed in the area of the Kyiv Zhulyany airfield, and until recently it practically did not manifest itself. But after a successful strike by the Russian Armed Forces on the headquarters with NATO officers, the air defense system was activated, and the Russian side found out about it. This was followed by a hypersonic strike.

In addition, the Russian Armed Forces successfully attacked the airfield in Starokonstantinov in the Khmelnitsky region. Since the Kh-47M Kinzhal is a very powerful weapon, there is speculation that the missiles in this case could have been targeted by F-16 fighters. Sources previously pointed to the transportation of two to five aircraft from Poland in parts to the territory of Ukraine in early December - Kyiv did not advertise such actions.

Very uplifting, but not serious (including the headquarters with NATO officers). Complex Air defense can be destroyed with one missile only if all its “components” are specially placed closely together on the site and wait for the strike. winked
I forgot: you also need to “highlight” the complex for more accurate guidance and spread a white cloth with a drawn cross on top (just kidding)...

      Quote from Vox Populi

Actually, the article refers to Kinzhal missiles in the plural. Well, how they could be raised is also a question.

There is no detailed data on the Dagger, but Iskander’s range (which is practically the same missile) includes cluster warheads.

Iskander can use a wide range of cluster warheads, allowing it to immediately hit a large area target, such as a military base, airfield, or air defense/missile defense unit.

the Iskander destruction area with a cluster fragmentation warhead is about 15 m², or approximately two football fields

The elements can be high-explosive, cumulative, thermobaric.

In 2022, all the media trumpeted with one voice that Russia has the second army in the world with 70% of the latest weapons, and what turned out to be what the SVO actually showed...
New armored vehicles are only enough for parades, drones fall from their own electronic warfare, there are practically none in the troops, communications are jammed and tapped by the enemy, domestic automated troop control systems only work during exercises, army and attack aircraft do not have effective means of protection against MANPADS, so they do not work above the LBS, and they shoot the ammunition “from a hill” somewhere in the direction of the enemy...
Army warehouses with uniforms were stolen and sold, so 300 thousand mobilized people were dressed, shoed and equipped by the whole country...
This is what Shoigu’s “biathlon army” looked like two years ago....

After the first defeat of the Patricks, the Anglo-Saxons became somewhat despondent and are inclining the whole world to negotiate. The excuses started like the money ran out, Zelya himself is to blame, the Ukrainians, like fighters, are suckers, etc.
