The Russian Su-75 fighter will be able to “change its head”
The Sukhoi Design Bureau has patented a modular configuration of the information and control circuit for manned and unmanned modifications of the Su-75 Checkmate multirole fighter.
It is already known that the designers plan to equip the manned version of the aircraft with a standard cockpit with a developed information field, represented by wide-format multifunctional indicators. In addition, an indicator will appear on the windshield of a manned fighter to display radar information from an AFAR radar and a multispectral television-infrared optical-electronic module. There will also be installed sensors for the radiation warning system, the operating parameters of the electromotive pressure control system, the hydraulic system and the power plant.
But the unmanned version of the Su-75 fighter will look a little different. Instead of a standard flight deck, it can receive additional precision antenna modules for exchanging information about the tactical situation with the leading Su-75 and Su-57. Experts say that these modules can be placed under radio-transparent fairings.
In addition, an additional fuel tank with a capacity of up to 75 liters can be placed in the freed-up internal space of the unmanned modification of the Su-2000. This solution will increase the range of the aircraft by 35-50%, as well as the operating period.
But that's not all. Now the designers are thinking about placing interferometric passive phased array modules for side-view electronic reconnaissance in the internal space of the unmanned version of the Su-75.
