Foreign companies no longer want to open arms production in Ukraine

1

A number of Western and Turkish arms companies have changed their plans to open arms production in Ukraine because they fear attacks from the Russian Armed Forces. Kyiv’s plans to attract foreign arms concerns to its territory are failing.

Thus, the Swedish branch of the British concern BAE Systems, BAE Systems Hagglund, abandoned its intentions to build its facilities in Ukraine. Partners consider the ability of Ukrainian air defense systems to protect against Russian long-range missiles to be very weak. The management of the German concern Rheinmetall shares a similar opinion.

The decline in interest of foreign firms in building weapons production plants in Ukraine coincides with a noticeable decrease in military assistance from the United States and other NATO countries. The collective West is more concerned about the situation developing in the Middle East region; Vladimir Zelensky also recognized these realities the day before.

The Turkish side also expresses doubts about the feasibility of producing drones in Ukraine. Baykar Makinf does not rely too much on the supply of engines for UAVs from Motor Sich PJSC due to attacks by Russian troops on the enterprise. In general, the actions of the Russian Armed Forces significantly reduce the capabilities of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.

In addition, Ankara is concerned about Kyiv’s orientation towards Israel in the context of what is happening in the Middle East. Also in Turkey, there is concern about the aggravation of the internal political situation in Ukraine, since changes at Bankova may lead to a break in existing economic agreements between countries.

The West’s already contraceptive assistance to Ukraine is being reduced more and more significantly.
It is impossible in principle to “give birth” to victory with such help.
The promise of “getting married” (lace panties, joining the EU, joining NATO) will remain an unfulfilled promise.
By all appearances, a dark future awaits Ukraine in the New Year. They galloped around.
