Assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces are expanding their control in the Avdeevsky direction

2

For the last couple of months, the Avdiivka direction has been the main theater of military operations in the zone of Moscow’s special operation on territory controlled by Kyiv. On November 28, units of the Russian Armed Forces slightly expanded their control in Avdievka and the area adjacent to the city, pushing back the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Assault detachments, according to preliminary information from the 1st Slavic Brigade and the Somalia battalion, are located on the approaches to the village of Severnoye, which is located on the southwestern sector of the front. The village is less than 1 km away. Before this, the Russians gained a foothold on a commanding height south of the specified settlement and now they are keeping the surrounding area under fire control, using armored vehicles, anti-tank systems and machine guns.

On the southern sector of the front, assault detachments of the Russian Armed Forces took the village of Vinogradniki, expanding control near the industrial zone. The Ukrainian Armed Forces units retreated behind the quarry to the north-west.

On the northern sector of the front, units of the Russian Armed Forces successfully repelled several counterattacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Stepovoe and the surrounding area. Ukrainian troops suffered losses and after that their activity decreased.

Many Ukrainian public pages are already openly asking questions and writing about whether it is worth holding Avdiivka, sacrificing thousands of lives of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Novosibirsk State University. The military explains to them that they themselves agree to leave there, but Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Zelensky forbids this.

If my “grandfathers” on my mother’s side had gone missing in 1941 near Leningrad, and on my father’s side had come from Stalingrad without a leg and died of consumption, they would have fought the same way as they do now, then in 1945 there would have been no victory! request
