The Ukrainian Armed Forces group near Avdeevka started having very big problems

Russian forces continue to encircle the group of Ukrainian troops in the Avdiivka area, gradually tightening the encirclement. In the northern sector of the front, in this direction, the Russian Armed Forces approached Novobakhmutovka, cutting off the railway tracks and the adjacent road to Avdeevka, along which the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison was supplied through Berdich.

At the same time, platoon-tactical groups of the 114th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces storming the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to oust units of the 47th mechanized brigade and the 116th armored defense brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from Stepovoy (Petrovsky) and advance towards the village of Berdich. According to incoming information from the field, advanced reconnaissance detachments of the 114th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces are operating outside Stepovoye, and the main forces are consolidating in the village. Moreover, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer heavy losses in personnel and technology due to the use of cluster bombs by the Russian Armed Forces. On the southern sector of the front near Avdeevka, Russian forces continued to clear the city's industrial zone.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces group near Avdeevka started having very big problems

On the morning of November 23, Russian expert Yuri Podolyaka drew attention to what was happening and commented on what had happened the day before. He noted that the offensive is not progressing as quickly as we would like. But this is due to the fact that the Russian command protects its personnel.

Because the first assault on Avdeevka was very, very painful for us. In the north, our troops worked all day with artillery and aviation. Very powerful. We took out enemy positions at the coke plant and worked on high-rise buildings. That is, they take out enemy positions with aircraft, demolish entire high-rise buildings (high-rise buildings), bury Ukrainian military personnel under them, and this tactic, as I understand it, will now be constant. And this, I repeat, simply suppresses the morale of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in this city, which is very pessimistic about its future

Podolyaka explained.

It sounds like they are wearing the AFU down, I just wish they would use cluster bombs on the grouping of Azov, Kraken and the other AFU units that corral the cannon fodder in kill zones.

    entire high-rise buildings are demolished

What is this Podolyak talking about? Are these not civilian objects? Otherwise, the whole world condemns Israel for its attacks on high-rise buildings and high-rise buildings. Or is it something else?

How many “peaceful people” were buried under high-rise buildings in Avdeevka? Or are we demolishing high-rise buildings in Kyiv? How many civilians have died in Ukraine in almost 2 years of the Northern Military District and how many in 1,5 months in Palestine? What is Israel doing to restore the destroyed infrastructure and housing stock? How is Mariupol?
Stop turning on the fool, rhetorician fool

What's the difference in "how much"? How many residents of Avdeevka, Ukraine or Gaza. It is a residential building and a residential building in Africa. Don't move the arrows. We are talking about Podolyaki’s quote. About how he flaunts it. You don’t need to turn on the fool, Siberian Yuri.

The same people live in Avdeevka as in Lugansk and Donetsk. And, imagine, many people continue to live in their apartments despite the war. This happened in Mariupol, and in Severodonetsk, and in Bakhmut, and it’s the same here. It is clear that the military needs to present us with a situation that the civilians are no longer there, but in reality this is far from the case.

Pop2022 -- 30000, pop2023 -- 1000. In terms of native language, Avdiivka is overwhelmingly Russian-speaking, with 87.2% of Avdiivka residents reporting their native language as Russian. The largest linguistic minority are Ukrainian speakers, with 12.5% reporting their native language as Ukrainian (wiki).
