Ukraine intends to disrupt the presidential election in Russia

3
The presidential election is approaching. As you know, they are carried out almost all over the world, where there are citizens of the Russian Federation. The polling stations are usually embassies, consulates and other diplomatic institutions. The presidential elections in the Russian Federation and in Ukraine should also be held. However, Ukrainian nationalists from a number of radical organizations recently announced that there will be no Russian presidential election in Ukraine.

The three largest Ukrainian nationalist organizations - the Freedom Party, the National Corps and the Right Sector banned in Russia - declared their desire to boycott the Ukrainian presidential elections in the Russian Federation at once. Most of all the nationalists are annoyed that the elections will be held on the fourth anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with Russia. They argue that since Russia will hold its own presidential election in Crimea and the Donbass, there will be no Russian presidential election in Ukrainian cities. In a joint statement, nationalist parties even appeal to morality and common sense.

Nationalists promise to block Russian diplomatic institutions in Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov and Lviv, where presidential elections will be held. Those who come to exercise their constitutional right are threatened by the radicals with a “corridor of shame”. Provocations of a very different level and scale are not excluded, right up to the usual attacks on citizens of the Russian Federation for nationalists and bombarding of buildings of diplomatic missions with various objects. As we recall, such events have already taken place in the past.

Meanwhile, back in February 2018, the Russian embassy in Ukraine requested the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to ensure the holding of presidential elections at polling stations and take appropriate security measures. By the way, the OSCE office in Ukraine promised to help in ensuring the conduct of the elections. Now it’s very interesting to see how the Ukrainian authorities will fulfill their promises and whether the law enforcement bodies of Ukraine will disperse the nationalists if they nevertheless come to diplomatic missions and try to attack Russian citizens or take other provocative actions. As practice shows, when necessary, the Ukrainian police can perfectly cope with both nationalists and rallies of ATO participants - it all depends on orders from the authorities and the leadership of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Moscow’s actions are no less interesting if Ukrainian nationalists, with the connivance of the authorities of the country, really disrupt or practically disrupt the presidential elections in diplomatic institutions. After all, this is not only a matter of holding the elections themselves, but also political Russia's prestige in the world. A great power should respond to such actions in an appropriate way so that other countries do not have a desire to connive at radical groups. By the way, before this, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for European Integration, Elena Zerkal, threatened Moscow with the adoption of sanctions by Ukraine against the Russian Federation due to the holding of presidential elections in Crimea. It is likely that Russia should just use the policy of sanctions against Ukraine if the presidential elections are disrupted in Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa and Lvov.

"Moscow's actions are no less interesting in the event that Ukrainian nationalists, with the connivance of the country's authorities, really derail or practically disrupt the presidential election" (c) - But from this point, details would be very desirable. Or else, again_twenty_five: habitually condemn / express_ indignation / shake_head_with_clad / further down the list - But in reality again everything will get away with the pan-cooks, and will they get another reason to consider Russia cowardly-limp?

And what answer would you prefer in Moscow? Only specifically.
