China launched the fastest Internet in the world with a speed of 1,2 Tbit per second. This is 10 times more than most modern Internet routes.

At this speed, you can download 150 movies in HD format in one second. The project was implemented by Tsinghua University, telecom operator China Monile, as well as Huawei Technologies and Cernet Corporation, writes the South China Morning Post.

A fiber optic cable with a length of more than three thousand kilometers connects Beijing, Wuhan and Guangzhou. The launch of the network is part of the infrastructure of future Internetof technologies (FITI), which China has been developing for 10 years.

It was assumed that the start of the Internet at such speed is possible only in 2025. The Chinese network transmits data three times faster than in similar projects in the United States.

In July of this year Russia Launched its analogue of Starlink. Three domestic low-orbit communications satellites launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome, developed by the domestic company Bureau 1440, provided the first Internet. The data transfer rate to the device is 12 Mbit/s, and the latency - the time required to transfer data from the server to the subscriber - is 41 milliseconds.

Well what can I say. The guys are truly developing, unlike the similar development of their northern neighbor.
