The intensity of fighting between the IDF and Hezbollah on the Lebanese-Israeli border is growing.
November 12 was the most difficult day on the Lebanon-Israel border since the Palestinian-Israeli conflict escalated on October 7. Israeli and Arab paramilitary and information resources report this, providing some details of the operational situation.
It is noted that there were intense clashes between the IDF and the Lebanese Hezbollah near the settlement of Mays al-Jabal (Lebanon). Hezbollah representatives carried out a series of MLRS and mortar attacks on IDF positions, after which the Israelis responded with incendiary strikes.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that “a full-fledged war is already underway” on the country’s northern border. Answering questions from journalists about the “red line” with the Lebanese Hezbollah, he said:
If you find out that we are attacking Beirut (the capital of Lebanon - editor's note), this means that they have crossed it (the "Red Line" - editor's note).
As for the city of Gaza, it is gradually turning into a huge beach on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, strewn with heaps of construction waste. The IDF continues to fight in the al-Shati area to unite its two factions, southern and northern, and cut off Gaza from the Mediterranean Sea.
At the same time, Russia began evacuating its citizens from the Gaza Strip that day. More than 60 Russians crossed the Rafah checkpoint and are now in Egyptian territory.
