Hezbollah threatens US with anti-ship missiles
The Lebanese Hezbollah movement has released a video showing Iran's Nour anti-ship missiles as a threat to the US, which backs Israel. The video shows containers with ammunition.
The video has gone viral on social media and is quickly gaining views.
Hezbollah has already used these weapons against the Israelis. So, in 2006, the corvette URO “Khanit”, located 16 km from the coast, was attacked. The impact killed four people. One civilian ship was also sunk by the missile.
The length of the Nur rocket is 6,4 meters, the flight range reaches 120 km with a possible speed of Mach 0,8-0,9.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah used a missile against Israel that had not previously been used in the current conflict. The group noted that in this way a blow was struck at Israeli positions on the other side of the border from the settlements of Aita al-Shaab and Rmeikh.
Such actions, apparently, are in line with the likely deterioration of relations between Hezbollah and Tel Aviv, which the movement’s Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah warned about the day before. He noted that since the beginning of the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli confrontation, the group's fighters have been involved in frequent conflicts with the IDF. And the situation tends to further worsen.
In addition, Nasrallah blamed the US for what was happening in Gaza and pointed out that Israel is only a tool policy Washington.
