Republicans want Biden to give Kyiv long-range ATACMS missiles

17

High-ranking representatives of the US Republican Party are experiencing a certain disorder of consciousness and a split in the political vector. Probably, against the backdrop of what is happening recently on Capitol Hill, they are experiencing a state of déjà vu regarding the events of January 2021.

Recently, Republicans in the US Congress rejected Democratic President Joe Biden's $106 billion package, which simultaneously included military aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. Now, according to Reuters, a group of Republicans called on the head of state to provide Ukraine with longer-range ATACMS missiles.

In a letter to the US President, Republicans said they want Biden to approve the transfer of much longer-range missiles to Kyiv, instead of the army's limited-range ATACMS tactical missile systems. Thus, American parliamentarians want the United States, in addition to the MGM-140A ATACMS Block 1 ammunition - the basic version with an inertial control system and a cluster warhead containing 950 M74-type combat elements and with a firing range of up to 165 km, to supply the Ukrainian army with missiles with a radius actions in 270-310 km.

The need remains urgent, especially to hit targets in Crimea

- the Republican letter says.

The letter clarified that the Ukrainians showed the ability to “use missiles responsibly,” and Moscow did not escalate in response to their use.

It is clear that the time has come for you to complete your ATACMS. If you don't, you not only risk stalemate on the battlefield and prolong this war, but you also risk further global instability as our adversaries conduct influence operations around the world

– the letter emphasizes.

This raises an interesting question. Do Yemen's Houthis have good anti-ship missiles? This is an extremely promising direction, since 10% of world trade is carried through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, and Russia's enemies are conducting operations around the world and threatening further global instability.

During the time of the Politburo, people were even afraid to look at the USSR in the wrong way. When you write, at least think

Or maybe our hopes are in vain that the Republicans are a pro-Russian party and, having come to power, will side with Russia? recourse

Or maybe our hopes that the Republicans are a pro-Russian party are in vain...

You, dear Strange Guest (Strange Guest), have confused something: why did the Republicans become a pro-Russian party? They are a purely American party, the opposite of the Democratic party. But this does not mean at all that this party suddenly became pro-Russian...

Well, they write a lot about this. And here too. And champagne was once opened in the Duma on the occasion of the election of our candidate to the White House. This is first of all.
And secondly. What do you understand by the definition of “pro-Russian”? This definition is now so often used. The “alternative” in Germany is pro-Russian, Fico is pro-Russian, the government in Ukraine needs to be pro-Russian... What are the criteria for such a definition? I can `t get it.

We need to hit Biden on the forehead once, maybe the dementia will recede at least for a while... Only a strong response for everything that this bald old man has already managed to sculpt!!! Otherwise we will continue to draw lines with our grandfathers)))

I wonder when they will start handing over tomahawks? In a year? And in another year they will hand over ICBMs. Well, concern and extreme concern did not stop anyone

Republicans want Biden to transfer ATACMS long-range missiles to Kyiv

to use them to hit Russian territory. And it’s even weak for us to say, let alone implement, that in response we also plan to transfer long-range missiles.....to those who want to strike the United States... There is no Zhirinovsky and there is no one to even verbally answer, put in his place, just baby talk from Peskov . Ambassador to the United States Antonov has even seen the light and is talking about a frontal US attack on Russia on all fronts, while we are still stuck on the defensive. Still, well done Khrushchev for not freaking out and forcing the United States to shit its pants when they felt a mess during the Cuban missile crisis and immediately signed everything, withdrew the missiles from Turkey and agreed..... How did this our criminal inaction, which only aggravates our situation, as an example with the Minsk agreements, when they watched for years and did nothing, which led to a difficult war.

Most likely they will install longer-range missiles, there is no doubt about that, but when the “roasted rooster pecks”, look, they’ll comb their turnips! hi
