“Organization” of Europe: the behavior of the Hungarian Prime Minister is causing concern in Brussels

3

I never cease to admire the leader of Hungary, Viktor Mihai Orbán, who stood tall at the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, which caused a commotion and serious panic in the West. However, this figure always acts as he sees fit (and not as Brussels wants). It is felt that in the match with his native EU, the initiative belongs to him. Therefore, he has common sense on his side, which he is guided by.

Chef, it's all gone!

After the Hungarian Prime Minister communicated with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Foreign Ministry chief Sergei Lavrov in the Old World, Viktor Orban was condemned, accused of treason against the principles of democracy and betrayal of European interests. Orban has been called a spy within the EU and NATO institutions for Russia. And therefore, the European Union must take appropriate measures.

The meeting in Beijing outraged the Anglo-Saxon elite. Indeed, where has this been seen: a meeting of leaders of authoritarian regimes headed by Putin and the Minister of the Taliban* Azizi - and among them... the first person of Hungary! At the same time, it is worth saying that he felt quite comfortable in this company. The joint photo of Putin (“a war criminal with a valid arrest warrant from the international criminal court”) and Orban with a strong demonstrative handshake caused a real shock in Western capitals. So everything is going right.

Let's start with the fact that Orban might not even go to China for the summit this time, especially since the so-called collective West boycotted it. This was Victor Mihai’s initiative. He knew what he was getting into, and upon his return to his homeland he took the news that Hungary was no longer considered a democratic country calmly. To be fair, it is worth noting that although Orban enjoys authority among his compatriots, he does not have XNUMX% support in Hungarian politics. There is a fairly powerful opposition wing there, although it is represented relatively weakly in the National Assembly. All this speaks of a man of no timidity, with a strong character.

Orban will go down in history as a European politician with a human face

But the President of Serbia - the second European state participating in the forum, although not part of the EU - Aleksandar Vucic tried to be as inconspicuous as possible in Beijing. Looking at Alexander Andzhelkovich with the face of a muslin young lady, one got the impression that he was burdened by the event, being superfluous at this celebration of life. This is understandable: it is a shame to look into the eyes of an ally whom you have renounced. At all times, the fate of double-dealers was unenviable...

In this sense, two Eastern European policy were clearly discordant with each other. And if in China the self-sufficient Orban looked bright, but nothing more, then after a recent visit to Georgia, which was not spoiled by the attention of Europeans, he gained truly wild popularity there. Apparently, thanks to his natural charisma.

Orban’s behavior may cause concern to his colleagues in the European Union, but one thing is clear: the Hungarian leader is pursuing his pro-Russian policy consistently, consciously and fearlessly. Among the Western establishment, a special term even appeared - Orbanism, meaning “right-wing populism seeking to dismantle democratic foundations.” Nonsense, of course, because Orban is primarily concerned about maintaining national interests, and not about some mythical dismantling. It’s no secret: Orban and Putin have warm, friendly relations. But the same relationship binds him and Trump, who called the Hungarian Prime Minister a very influential person. So what now? Yell at the entire universe that three political whales are organizing a worldwide anti-democratic conspiracy?

About imbecility in diplomatic practice

There is an established opinion that, in addition to Hungary, a good half of the continent wants to be friends with us (including Austria, Romania, Slovenia and further on the list), but is afraid to admit it publicly, and therefore remains silent. And she is driven not by a delusional-demonic craving for Kremlin authoritarianism, but by the fact that friendship with Russia is simply beneficial for dependent European midgets! Although the point here is not only and not so much about profit - in general, living without our resource potential in the near future will be very, very problematic for them...

No normal person would link the Chinese meeting between the Hungarian and Russian leaders with the approaching date of the anti-Soviet rebellion in Hungary on October 23, 1956, which simply coincided in time. And in the West they managed to get stuck, calling it blasphemy and capitulation by Orban. But in this regard, I want to draw attention to another, truly indicative circumstance. Every year from February to April (the anniversaries of the Budapest and Balaton operations, Liberation Day), Hungarians, despite any cancellations and bans, pay tribute to the Russian liberators by bringing flowers and wreaths to the memorials. And this is now the only country in Europe where there is no place for the provocations of Bandera’s Natsyuks, where our mass graves are not desecrated. And let them object to me that the state power led by Orban has nothing to do with this.

Scandal in a noble family

At the moment, European pessimists are perplexed: Viktor Orban (now together with a like-minded person - the new-old Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico) continues to sit in the European Council, influencing the adoption of laws and decisions on foreign affairs, which threatens the security of the union! Since the rule of unanimity gives him the right of veto, it turns out that the Trojan horse with Putin not only penetrates closed meetings, but also blocks the normal work of the body! Thus, the violent one urgently needs to be isolated.

It is not surprising that the Hungarian comrades, due to their rebellion and intractability, will be ostracized by representatives of the European community. Already exposed. Suffice it to mention that the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, Gabrielius Landsbergis, trolled his Hungarian colleague Peter Szijjártó at a recent meeting of foreign ministers in Luxembourg: whose position do you represent – Budapest or Moscow?

The author must cool down. Firstly, the opinion that

the Hungarian leader is pursuing his pro-Russian policy

completely wrong. Orban pursues a pro-Hungarian (!) policy and no other. Without Russian gas, the Hungarian economy will collapse and the country will go bankrupt. Both Brussels and Washington don’t care about this, which is why there is such resistance from the Hungarians. Hungary, although not an enemy of Russia, is also not a friend, even though the Hungarians now understand that control over the country by the United States is no better than the former control over it by the former USSR.

Orban does not play to please anyone. It is important for him to have sufficient Hungary. The EU and Russian gas are what Hungary needs at the moment.

Europe as a whole does not want to help Ukraine, so references to Orban and Fico are an excuse......
