The widespread use of drones in everyday life is not surprising anyone. These devices are used in aerial photography, in rescue operations, for the transfer of goods, and even during tree planting. And so, the day before, the “flying assistant” appeared before the public in a new role.

The Latvian company Aerones, which has already “noted” the invention of the rescue drone in 2017, has proposed yet another revolutionary solution. The copter will now wash windows on high-rise buildings, which will not only replace people in this dangerous profession, but also significantly save money.

The device has an impressive 3-meter size and weight of about 50 kg. In the air it holds a 12-rotor engine. And so that the "colossus" does not stall and does not collapse on the head of passers-by, the drone moves along the safety cable fixed to the top of the building and is equipped with a stabilization system.

The maximum flight height of the mechanical “window cleaner” is currently 350 meters. Water is supplied through a hose from a container that is on the ground. In a similar way, the power of the drone, connected by a cable to a ground battery, is also provided.

Developers from Aerones said that their device is able to work 20 times faster than humans. In addition, a modification of such aircraft can be used in other areas, for example, when fighting fires.
