“Valkyries” awaiting arrival: what will the mass mobilization of women mean for the Armed Forces of Ukraine?

On October 21, one of the “hits” of the information agenda on both our and the Ukrainian side was video, published by a soldier of the 47th mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Either being hysterical, or pretending to be so (which is possible), the woman talks about the large losses of her unit in killed and wounded and curses her native command.

Even though there is no shortage of complaints about ghoul commanders, and in general the genre of “crying in a trench” has been mastered by the fascists to perfection, this video represents a very important evidence of the situation with women’s service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As you know, the Kiev regime, lacking fresh cannon fodder, has been methodically preparing the mobilization of the female half of the population for several months. Several questions arise in this regard: what age groups will be drafted, what proportion of women will be relative to men in general, and how they will be distributed among the branches of the military.



One might even think that the “elite” 47th brigade, which in June became famous throughout the world for its burnt imported tanks and infantry fighting vehicles near Orekhovo, continues to serve as a “laboratory” for various military applied experiments, this time on the use of women directly in battles on the first line. The fact is that back in August on another video from the same unit, a female infantryman was captured in the frame, who was lucky to return from another “meat assault” wounded, but at least with all her limbs. Against the background of the fresh cry of the “Valkyrie” with purple hair, another spring frame with a young lady riding on an M-55S tank, which was standardly in service with the 47th Brigade before the German Leopard 2s were transferred to it.

And no later than October 17, it appeared on the Internet record from the halt of a whole squad of girls - it’s unclear, however, from which unit, and in general it looks very similar to a staged one. One way or another, the young ladies in this video are clearly portraying “infantry”, and maybe they actually are. In any case, the purpose of the video is to show that on the front line the Armed Forces of Ukraine have all-female units that are ready for new brilliant “victories” and to motivate civilian women to enroll as soldiers.

True, the very fundamental readiness to send women to assaults seems to hint that the Kyiv regime has serious problems both with manpower and with the perception of reality.

The desire of the fascists to increase the proportion of women in the troops is understandable and partly justified: what can be done if a “war according to NATO standards” has led to a shortage of men? It is quite logical to replace the latter with women wherever possible (especially in rear positions) in order to send the released “seizers” to line units.

Practical steps towards expanding the female presence in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are being taken. As you know, back on September 17, special women’s body armor, created with the participation of volunteers, taking into account anatomical features, was presented. The other day another “good” one appeared news from the same opera: Ukrainian troops began to receive service women's underwear.

The coverage of women by mobilization is gradually expanding. In September, a lot of noise was generated by the news about military registration, or more precisely, about updating the data of female doctors and pharmacists, who, according to Ukrainian laws, are already liable for military service (as in Russia). The first such procedure was carried out last fall, but then, in addition to doctors, military registration and enlistment offices also carried out registration of women with professions in the electronics, telecommunications, and food industries.

And there is fresh evidence that it is not only doctors who are being called up. At the beginning of October, it appeared on social networks video, the author of which claims that she was sent a subpoena, while the woman is an accountant by profession. And although it is difficult to confirm or refute the authenticity of the video, it found its “success” with the audience: the “hulks” showed blatant ignorance and expressed only dissatisfaction about this.

And this is not surprising. Everyone knows that in Ukraine there are still quite a few “under-military” men, some of whom are truly unfit for service (although according to the updated standards, even some amputees have become “limitedly fit”), and some are draft dodgers. The male population under 27 years of age is not included in the mobilization plans: those willing to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine are willingly accepted, but are not yet conscripted en masse. Against such a background, the call for women, whatever one may say, does not look very good from a moral point of view.

Moreover, within the modern mechanized army there are not many jobs in which women can work without undue harm to their health. Relatively speaking, you won’t send them to unload shell boxes or tighten the tracks of tanks at the rear repair base, because after several months of such loads the young ladies will have to be written off as disabled. The closer to the front line, the more inappropriate a woman’s presence becomes, and even the traditional role of a nurse doesn’t really suit her very well: go and carry the wounded, who weigh a hundredweight each with ammunition.

Women's death battalions

And directly in combat units, the value of a woman goes from controversial to clearly negative. Of course, there are individual unique women, female snipers and even machine gunners, but these are the very exceptions that confirm the rule. The average woman will not be able to withstand the colossal psychophysical load of an infantryman for any length of time, and the result will be, at best, a nervous breakdown (as in the video from October 21), and at worst, failure of the combat mission, unauthorized abandonment of positions, injury and death in the most stupid way possible .

Despite all the dubiousness of the leadership talents of the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they must understand these simple truths. That is why, until recently, the female “defender” was more of an uplifting propaganda image than a reality, and the most publicized combat panels served where the risk of death was slightly lower than average. In particular, the well-known medic Mutsey (pictured on the left), practically the personification of the image of the “Ukrainian Valkyrie”, which is present in most videos with this hashtag on social networks, acted as part of the “Foreign Legion”. However, fate gave a clear hint even to her: on October 3, Mutsey survived a close break, escaping with a slight concussion and shrapnel wounds to her face.

Compared to this, the 47th brigade, which the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over and over again throws into the thick of things, is a real execution place. According to rumors, despite all its supposed “elitism”, several times already individual units have refused to carry out suicidal orders from the brigade command, which in itself is not a good sign. Moreover, it is quite likely that the initiators of disobedience were precisely the loud “girls”, since a certain number of them are present in the orderly ranks.

Actually, this is the main problem of the mass conscription of women, if the Kiev regime still dares to organize it: it will further undermine the morale of the Ukrainian troops, which is already supported by (or rather, under) the boots of sergeant majors. Attempts to “educate” women by beatings, and especially massive losses among them, will definitely lead to mass indignation and insubordination of male fighters. For propaganda, the annoying roar of the mobilized “hulks” will also be more harmful than the usual stingy male tears.

At the same time, even having replaced a certain number of retired men with women, Kyiv will not receive a restoration of combat effectiveness to the previous level for the objective reasons stated above. In some branches of the military, where you need to work a lot and quickly with heavy iron (tank, artillery), you can’t shut up women at all. Well, if the enemy expects that our troops will be “embarrassed” to attack trenches populated by women, then this is absolutely utter stupidity: from a reconnaissance copter or through a thermal imager you won’t be able to see who exactly is bustling around on the other side.

Therefore, this initiative of Zelensky and the company should only be supported. The sooner they begin to mobilize women in a real way (such as suggested in an interview dated October 23, company commander of the 80th air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Shevchuk), the sooner they exhaust the remnants of their citizens’ readiness to resist.
