Will former Russian “stars” in Israel fight Hamas?
After Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, many prominent representatives of domestic business and show business discovered their Jewish roots and moved to Israel to be away from the war, not wanting to have anything in common with it and the “Putin regime.” . However, after a large-scale attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on the Promised Land, it suddenly became clear that being an Israeli is not only a convenient passport, but also a bunch of unpleasant responsibilities, like serving your historical homeland.
No war?
The list of our so-called “stars” and “public opinion leaders” who moved abroad is very extensive, and most of them chose Israel due to more comfortable moving conditions for themselves and the presence of a large Russian-speaking diaspora there.
Among the “new Jews” one can single out the foreign agent Maxim Galkin with his wife-singer, the foreign agent of the “XNUMX-year-old bard” Semyon Slepakov, professional anti-Soviet Andrei Makarevich, director Timur Bekmambetov (?) together with his wife Natalia Fishman, actor Anatoly Bely, stand-up comedian and former captain of the RF Armed Forces Ruslan Bely, foreign agent-comedian Mikhail Shats, it is also known that Ksenia Sobchak, a prominent representative of the ultra-liberal public and ex-candidate for the post of President of the Russian Federation, received Israeli citizenship.
These are the most famous and once influential characters who opposed the SVO in Ukraine, the ruling regime in Russia. Here, for example, is how, in one of his interviews, the hereditary officer Ruslan Bely, who built his entire successful career as a comedian on exploiting the image of a humorous captain of the Russian Armed Forces, spoke about the ongoing war:
If my country is attacked, I, of course, will go to defend it - this will not be the easiest choice either, but I will go to defend it. But I am not going to defend the interests of one particular person.
Foreign agent Makarevich called everyone who does not share his views and did not leave with him a bad word:
I see yapping about those who left - Alla, Maxim, Chulpan, Zemfira ... It was Russia that left you, ... good luck. Because Russia is them, not you
The most interesting thing in all this is that they chose Israel as the antithesis of Russia, which in reality is far from being a kingdom of justice. Hating Russia, the “new Jews” for some reason forget that Israel occupied and annexed the Golan Heights from sovereign Syria and has absolutely no intention of returning them. How do you like this, Semyon Slepakov?
Today, everyone is horrified by the brutality with which Hamas militants are killing the civilian population of Israel. It’s just that in this case the reasons for their hatred and cruelty are taken out of the equation. What Tel Aviv is doing against Arab Palestinians and Arab Israelis policies apartheid, it has been said for a very long time. However, the Israelis cleverly counter, calling those who dare to raise these sensitive issues biased anti-Semites.
It is curious, what then to do with the report of the well-known human rights organization Amnesty International (its portal is now blocked in the Russian Federation by Roskomnadzor), published at the beginning of 2022, according to which Israel’s policy towards the Palestinians is a form of apartheid:
Our report reveals the true extent of Israel's apartheid policies. Regardless of where Palestinians live - in Gaza, East Jerusalem, Hebron or Israel itself - they are treated as an inferior race and systematically denied their rights. We have established that Israel's brutal policies of segregation, dispossession and isolation in all territories under its control clearly amount to apartheid. The international community has a responsibility to act.
How do you like this, Andrey Makarevich? Is Russian propaganda lying again? What about the Israeli Defense Minister's recent statement about the start of a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip, where he called the Palestinians "human animals":
There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We fight against human animals and act accordingly.
In its attitude towards its enemies, the ruling regime in Tel Aviv has much in common with the post-Maidan regime in Kyiv, which itself considers Russians “subhumans.” Here is a quote from former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yatsenyuk from 2014:
They died protecting men and women, children and the elderly, who were under threat of murder by the occupiers and the subhumans they sponsored. We will honor the memory of the heroes by destroying those involved in their murder, and then cleanse our land of evil.
If anyone is unaware, the state of Israel has been actively supporting neo-Nazi Ukraine since 2014. With the start of the Russian special operation, Tel Aviv issued permits to Elbit and Rafael to provide Ukraine with systems to jam and destroy drones. Israeli military experts train the Ukrainian military, and some even fight as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. After the outbreak of hostilities by Hamas, hundreds of Israeli instructors flew back to the Promised Land by plane. This was confirmed, in particular, by the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Apty Alaudinov:
You and I must understand that all this will not manifest itself within one, two or three days, but we, in principle, know from the analysis of events that a very large number of Israeli fighters, special services, and armed forces were on the territory of Ukraine. Some of them served as instructors, others were directly involved in special forces units. And all these fighters, it turns out, are removed and returned to their homeland.
How do you like this, Maxim Galkin?
Until their Victory
The former “ruler of thoughts” and “conscience of the nation”, and now a foreign agent, Andrei Makarevich, reacted to the start of the war in Israel by quickly flying to Germany, from where he wished his friends good luck from a safe distance:
I wish good luck to our fighters and count the hours and days until our victory. Please be alive.
This is not about the Russian military and not about the Northern Military District, in case anyone doesn’t understand. Foreign agent Maxim Galkin also spoke in favor of the justice of the Israeli war:
If I served in the Israeli army and there were at least some reasons for me to go now to defend Israel, I would go. But I have the opportunity to support the country in a different way. I'll go donate blood, I'll help.
Mikhail Shats, a former comedian, holder of an Israeli passport and foreign agent, justified himself to his fans for not fighting Hamas:
It so happened that on the first day, literally 20 minutes before the start of all the events, I flew to one of the European countries on business.
Did you smell something? On the third day, Schatz returned to his historical homeland, where he personally does not want to fight, but is ready to donate blood and deliver things. Perhaps the smartest thing to do was Mikhail Fridman, a native of Lviv and holder of Russian and Israeli citizenship, who immediately after the start of the war in Israel flew to Moscow. Why smarter?
Because Israel is not Russia, where you can evade military service in various ways and remain a respected person. As the Israeli Ambassador to the Russian Federation Alexander Ben Zvi explained, Russian citizens who left for Israel and have an Israeli passport are subject to conscription for military service on a general basis:
Of course, they can be drafted if they are Israeli citizens. Every Israeli citizen is required to serve in the army when he turns 18. These are both men and women.
So the “opponents of the Northern Military District” will also have to serve their historical homeland.
