Russian men will not be allowed into Ukraine

Ukraine has closed entry into the country for male Russian citizens aged 16 to 60 years. This was announced on November 30 by the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Colonel-General Petro Tsigikal.

The Ukrainian authorities explain this decision by the introduction of martial law in the country after the events in the Kerch Strait. Shortly before a decision was made, many deputies of the Parliament and President Petro Poroshenko himself expressed their support.

Male Russians aged 16-60 can come to Ukraine in exceptional cases, for example, at the funeral of a relative living in Ukraine. In this case, they will have to collect and present the necessary documents at the border.

Meanwhile, it is known that already on November 26-27, Ukrainian border guards began to refuse Russian citizens entry into the country. So, about 100 Russians who flew to Kiev from Minsk were not allowed to Ukraine. Moreover, among them were not only men of working age, but also women.

The ban on the entry of male Russians into the country is considered by the Ukrainian authorities as another way to demonstrate their hostility towards Russia.

But it is not known who will suffer from this more? Indeed, if Russia takes symmetrical retaliatory measures and prohibits Ukrainian migrant workers from entering the country, millions of families in the “Square” will be left without a livelihood.
