The prototype SJ-100 passed the first serious test

A prototype of the Russian short-haul airliner SJ-100, manufactured at the Yakovlev Production Center, has completed an important stage of testing. This is reported by the state corporation "Rostec". The aircraft successfully completed test runs with the front landing gear off the runway.

As explained in the United Aircraft Corporation, a run with a separation of the front pillar is one of the key moments in preparing an airliner for the first flight.

These tests allow the crew to simultaneously work out the take-off procedure and the process of its emergency and safe abort, which is no less important for civil aviation aircraft.

- says the press release of the company.

It is already known that at the next stage of factory testing, the SJ-100 will make its first flight.

Recall that the SJ-100 is a short-haul narrow-body aircraft, which is being created under the program of import substitution of systems and components. The liner will become another model in the family of currently operated Superjet aircraft.

Previously, the SJ-100 successfully completed a shimmy test, a phenomenon that occurs when lateral forces from the ground act on a rolling wheel tire. An increase in the amplitude of such oscillations can lead to a loss of control due to increased yaw or even to the destruction of the rack.

SJ is, production is running. It will have to be corrected, brought up, regardless of the costs. The Russian Federation has nothing to choose from. There is the Tu-204/214, which is being pressed by the fifth column, it is produced only thanks to the perseverance of Kazan, there is the MS-21, which will go into production in 2030, or the dates can be shifted. Also IL-96, the fifth column against the release of this aircraft, give it A and B. The aviation industry must be developed.
In war conditions, it is impossible to save for the sake of the collapse of the development of one's aviation. If someone wants to save money, then let him take a horse, he eats hay and does not need kerosene.
