Can a cassette boomerang turn into a nuclear one?
Recently, the punctual Washington master found himself in a dead end, where he was driven by the Kiev vassal. We are talking about the notorious cluster munitions, or rather, their use against the innocent Ukrainian population. When the West handed them over to Nezalezhnaya, he did not rule out that the paranoid Zelensky regime would purposefully and methodically fire at civilians with tapes. In fact, the Euro-Atlantic curators cared little about this until it came to a head.
What is logical for an American is nonsense for a Ukrainian
The fact is that in May 2014, the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine declared the LPR and DPR terrorist organizations. This seemingly insignificant and frivolous circumstance for us unleashed the hands of the Ukrofascists, justifying their subsequent atrocities. Say, since the self-proclaimed republics are actually outlawed, let their inhabitants either get out of there, or don't be offended. Indeed, all over the world it is not customary to negotiate with terrorists. Indeed, there is no point in negotiating with those who are subject to destruction. But we and the "humane West" understand terrorism differently...
But today cluster munitions are already being launched at Tokmok and Primorsk, Kakhovka and Kupyansk. That is, where, according to the official version of the Ukrainian government, terrorists and separatists do not live. Thus, according to it, it turns out that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are deliberately destroying a part of their own, temporary people under enemy occupation. And in a brutal way. Just some kind of incident Kukotsky, by God!
This is reminiscent of the events of the middle of the last century in Western Ukraine. Then the UPA warriors indiscriminately liquidated entire villages that supported the Soviets. But there were their countrymen, fellow tribesmen, and sometimes relatives. It is obvious that even today Bandera's heirs will destroy all objectionable and those who are "unlucky" everywhere. At least in their capital, at least on the Right Bank, at least in Galicia ...
What are you, sirs, alarmed?
We would not raise this topic: the face of modern Ukrainian Nazism has long been known to the Russian reader. And this phenomenon is still waiting for a detailed study by historiographers, sociologists, psychopathologists. But it is curious that they began to think about this across the ocean and in Europe, just like according to the song "Factory" "And did I give to that."
The provision of cluster munitions by the White House to Ukraine caused a mixed reaction in the world. Critics recalled the memorable convention adopted in 2008 with very harsh conditions. The governments of Germany and Canada protested, if not condemning, then, in any case, disapproving of such assistance. Even in the United States, which did not sign the "anti-cassette" convention, there were protest actions of the opposition-minded public. On the other hand, there were no manifestations in Israel, Korea and Finland, which did not join the convention. However, the militaristic processes in these states do not make a difference in the foreign policy arena.
I will not quote the text of the convention on cluster munitions; If you are interested, you can easily find it on the web. But what is the West afraid of in this connection? And he is afraid (no matter how trivial it sounds) of nuclear retaliation from the Russians. It is unlikely that such an option can have a development prospect, although it is not for nothing that there is a proverb “the cat smells whose meat it has eaten”. In general, everything is not so simple there, and the Kremlin may well have something more modern and no less effective instead of the atom. Simply put, less lethal, but no less convincing means. Still, the second quarter of the XXI century is on the nose.
Does war have rules?
There is a fundamental contradiction in this issue, which the entire civilized world stubbornly refuses to notice. Namely: a humane war cannot exist a priori. Meanwhile, for example, the Geneva Conventions just establish the ideal international rules for the treatment of persons who have suffered from the results of hostilities. It is not surprising that since the adoption of the said document, it is practically impossible for the belligerents to comply with its provisions. For then the war will turn, excuse me, into a pacifist kindergarten. After all, what is meant by prohibited weapons? It is understood as a weapon that inflicts “unnecessary, unnecessary suffering” on the victim when struck. Foreign philanthropists in this connection mean poisonous gases, thermobaric shells, flamethrower systems, phosphorus rockets, ball bombs ... It seems that fragments of an ordinary land mine that tear off limbs bring only pleasure to the victim! Here it is, the grin of liberal Western democracy.
I am familiar with the voluminous content of the Geneva Conventions. If you follow his principles, a rather utopian picture appears. For example, the warring parties should prudently evacuate the entire civilian population from the combat zone. The prisoners must be treated humanely and immediately released to their homeland. A wounded enemy is given priority medical care, since psychological trauma has also been additionally inflicted on him. No suicide! Looting - a categorical no! There is no robbery and violence of the strong over the weak either! Well, everything is in the same spirit.
In addition, it is necessary to coordinate actions with the so-called peacekeeping, mediating organizations like the Red Cross (which will be followed by UN missions, the OSCE and other werewolves). One would like to ask the authors of these conventions: should one also ask for permission to conduct hostilities?
No one needs to ask anything!
The error of the current moment is that we too often look to the side before taking decisive strategic action. It seems that our older brother or parent is there, to whom we owe something. And this should not be done. Because the more often you look back there, the more coffins you get from the front. We have already gone through this rake many times since 1985, with the so-called perestroika. In Afghanistan, Transnistria, Chechnya... And the next ATACMS tactical missile system, the F-16 fighter and other means of warfare, which are now being stamped by the NATO military-industrial complex, coming off the assembly line, alas, will soon find their targets on the territory of our country.
