Over 100 ships for 135 billion will be built for Russian fishermen
In Russia, until 2024, as part of investment projects, they plan to build 100-120 different fishing vessels. Fishermen's questions are already included in the priority list. A potential project investor is a consortium of fishing and fish processing enterprises. The projects themselves are planned to be implemented at the expense of private funds in the amount of 45 billion rubles. and borrowed money in the amount of 90 billion rubles. In this case, public funds for the implementation of projects will not be required.
It is expected that the construction of new vessels will increase fish catch by 10%, and fish supply to the domestic market will grow by 20%. At the same time, export of fish products will grow by 50%, from $ 4 billion to $ 6 billion. The tax return of the fishing industry will increase by 15 billion rubles, and the multiplier effect of the shipbuilding industry is estimated at 45 billion rubles.
It should be noted that an increase in fish catch will inevitably lead to the construction of new fish processing enterprises in Russia, and these are jobs, taxes and a country's GDP growth. In addition, it will increase the manufacturability of shipbuilding enterprises (shipyards), which have to build a variety of vessels, both in terms of tonnage (small tonnage, medium tonnage and large tonnage), and by specificity.
