The latest digital communication system was introduced into the Su-57
Russian specialists have introduced a new digital communications system into the control of the Su-57 fighter. This was reported to the press by official representatives of the Roselectronics holding, which is part of Rostec.
The development of the complex was carried out by the research and production enterprise Polet. The use of this innovation will allow, in particular, to carry out a better transmission of information. At the same time, the new system can be successfully integrated into the onboard facilities of almost any aircraft, regardless of their generation.
One of the features of the functioning of the system is the operation at high frequencies and increased protection from interference and the activities of enemy intelligence services. The complex includes mechanisms for noise-immune coding and decoding, a signal receiver for global navigation satellite systems, as well as a digital signal processing and synchronization bus.
Earlier, in the bowels of the Russian defense industry, short-range missiles for the Su-57 were created, outperforming the corresponding American weapons by 5-10 years in terms of their tactical and technical characteristics. Tests of air-to-air missiles were carried out in record time, and the adoption of these munitions into service has already begun.
