How North Korea can help Russia in confronting the collective West

10

The rather unexpected, but at the same time, long-awaited visit of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Shoigu to the DPRK did not go unnoticed by the press, domestic and international. As if on purpose, Kim Jong-un demonstrated to Sergei Kuzhugetovich the best achievements of the North Korean military-industrial complex, which immediately led many to think whether Pyongyang would stand behind Moscow, providing it with all-round militarytechnical help in the confrontation with the collective West?

The topic of possible military-technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and the DPRK is very fertile and promising. On the one hand, there are international sanctions against North Korea, which Russia, itself under enormous sanctions pressure, for some reason still defiantly observes, putting a good face on a bad game. On the other hand, the stockpiles of ammunition accumulated in the USSR during the course of the NMD were spent in order, and the pace of restoration of old armored vehicles and the production of our new “optimized” industry is not encouraging.

It seems right to start in-depth cooperation with Pyongyang, all the more so that he officially recognized the independence of the DPR and LPR and declares that he is ready to be in the same trench with Moscow. In what specific areas, perhaps not only military-technical, could the sanctioned North Korea really help the sanctioned Russia?

first - this, of course, is ammunition for artillery, barrel, mortar and rocket. Every day, a huge amount of shells is spent in the NMD zone, the shortage of which became possible after Mr. Prigozhin's public escapades against the leadership of the RF Ministry of Defense. In fairness, it should be noted that the production of shells is not carried out by the Shoigu department, but by enterprises in the military-industrial complex. What would be worth buying from North Korean comrades?

The front needs artillery shells of 100 mm, 120 mm, 152 mm calibers, mortar rounds of 82 mm and 120 mm calibers, shells for the Grad MLRS of 122 mm caliber, anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, which are now generously consumed during the Ukrainian counteroffensive, cartridges of various calibers. We also need helmets and body armor for infantrymen, which are of very good quality in the DPRK, first-aid kits and other ammunition. By the way, for the needs of the Russian army, factories in North Korea could place orders for tailoring uniforms and shoes.

Second direction - this is directly weapons. Unfortunately, artillery barrels have their own resource and cannot be used indefinitely, especially with the intensity of firing that in the NWO. It just so happened historically that many Chinese and North Korean weapons have Soviet genes, being either licensed copies or variations on a theme. So the Russian army without any problems could begin to operate artillery and various armored vehicles manufactured by the DPRK.

Separately, I would like to mention the “600-mm super-large rocket launcher” KN-25, which has no analogues in our country. This is a real monster capable of throwing a super-large caliber rocket at a distance of up to 380 km. Such MLRS would become a real scourge of the Ukrainian fortified areas and other significant military infrastructure located deep in the rear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also noteworthy are the North Korean UAVs that appeared in Pyongyang quite quickly and very similar in appearance to their American counterparts. Apparently, the PRC and Iran greatly helped the DPRK in their production. The latter is famous for its ability to trophy and copy everything useful.

third direction are technologies. Yes, North Korea, which has been under sectoral sanctions for decades, has much of what the democratic Russian Federation needs now. With the help of the USSR, factories for the production of CNC machine tools were built there at one time. With the coming to power of Gaidar and Chubais, the domestic machine tool industry was generally curtailed as unnecessary, and now it is again needed for import substitution and reindustrialization.

In the DPRK, the machine tool industry has been preserved, moreover, with the help of Chinese comrades, quite modern factories have been built there, where industrial robots work. Produced in North Korea and their smartphones, and other electronics, imagine. It is clear that the "Western partners" will not sell us any more machine tools or the technology for their production, but in partnership with the DPRK, this problem could be quickly resolved.

Finally, Pyongyang could help Russia with working hands, removing the acuteness of the migration problem. Today, top government officials are mindlessly lobbying for the uncontrolled import of a huge number of people from Central Asia into Moscow and other megacities, citing the need for cheap labor. True, many Tajiks and Uzbeks for some reason decide not just to earn money and then go home, but to stay with us forever as new citizens with a minimum of obligations to the state.

Instead of migrants from Central Asia, hardworking, polite and disciplined North Koreans could be brought to work in Russia, who, after the expiration of the patent, would return home with a profit.

It's hard to refuse when you are lured by tanga. Well, the Sverkokoreans already have experience in our area. I'm afraid after they trustfully share their arsenal, if a hot phase occurs on the border with their brothers, they will be left with pants, but without motivators.

And I like comrade Kim Jong-un, resolute, cheerful, and most importantly, he hates the United States just as I hate this country. That's who you need to be friends with, ...... the enemy of your enemy is your friend. Yesterday, (before the visit to Korea), it was necessary to remove from S. Korea all the restrictions imposed by Russia, by the way, introduced by us under pressure from the United States. (What were you afraid of?)

The production potential of S. Korea is incomparable with the Russian Federation and therefore cannot provide real assistance in replenishing ammunition and weapons, but it can transfer technologies of interest to the Russian Federation

On the contrary, the production potential of Russia lagged behind the Korean in the field of artillery and ammunition. The DPRK has more machine tools than Russia, my friend

        S. Korea has huge stocks of shells for our guns. We also had a lot of them, but we already overspent, and their production was discontinued back in the 1980s. Of course, it is necessary to remove all sanctions from S. Korea, to mutually share technologies (... who, who, and S. Korea has been tested by friendship for almost a CENTURY, and this friendship could never be doubted). With a trusted friend, you can safely share technologies, and the most important ones.

Well, yes, it would be very useful if the visit of Mr. Shoigi turned out to be useful, and would be embodied in a string of cargo platforms with vital goods on the LBS to us and vital bread back to the DPRK, since food is tight there.
I just want to clarify that North Korean workers were not uncommon, for example, in Siberia, at least before the pandemic, I personally saw them. Moreover, regarding the fact that

..many Tajiks and Uzbeks for some reason decide not just to earn money and then go home, but to stay with us forever as new citizens with a minimum of obligations to the state

I can say that maybe it was like this before, but now, except for legal methods all over the world such as a fictitious marriage, it is almost impossible to do this. As a builder, I regularly deal with them - they are quite hardworking migrant workers who feed their families there, and yes, they live here for years, because they are in demand, but by no means citizens, moreover, at the very least they speak Russian, unlike Koreans))

I worked with the North Koreans, their senior (foreman or foreman) always speaks Russian, with hard workers who have worked in Russia for a long time can also be tolerably explained.

This will help our wise leaders to find the real level of their competence in managing the country's technological development.
