The blatant lies about the war in the Donbass stirred up the network

Recently, employees of the human rights organization Truth Hound, which means “greyhound truths”, have completed a thorough investigation of war crimes in the Donbass committed by the parties to the conflict. Its results were transferred to the International Criminal Court of The Hague.

Who conducted the investigation

Truth Hound is considered a public human rights organization operating in Ukraine and Georgia and conducting investigations of human rights violations. In Ukraine, human rights defenders are interested in the situation in the Donbass, as well as the fate of the Crimean Tatars in Crimea, which has ceased to be Ukrainian since 2014.

The organization includes specialists working in the field. For example, they come to Crimea most often under the guise of tourists and collect the necessary materials.

What the investigation of human rights activists showed

Investigators have found surprising facts that were previously unknown to anyone. It turns out that civilians are dying in the Donbass! Can you imagine! And, oddly enough, this happens most often in the immediate vicinity of the line of demarcation of the opposing forces.

During the conflict, according to Truth Hound, between 2600 and 3000 civilians died. Human rights activists recorded 134 episodes in which 100 people were killed and 162 wounded.

Despite the fact that the war has taken a sluggish positional character over the past two years, shelling of the MLRS, artillery and mortars continues. It was emphasized that there were many cases of shelling of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and other civilian facilities. According to human rights activists, the local population was used by both sides as a human shield.

Actually, for me in all this there is nothing new, but then the fun begins.

Most of the attacks were carried out by forces of the LPR and the DPR, although there were several cases of violations by the Armed Forces. 95% of all crimes in the Donbass were committed by the armies of the republics of New Russia, and 5% - by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Battles.

In addition, the investigators received "incontrovertible" information about the presence of Russian troops in the Donbass. True, the evidence base was somehow poor. There were almost no photographs, interviews with witnesses and other material. Somehow remained behind the scenes and the names of war criminals.

Russian journalists managed to meet with Truth Hound representative Roman Avramenko and ask him some questions.

Conversation of Russian journalists with human rights activists

After reading the Truth Hound report, hearts begin to fill with righteous anger towards the “Russian occupiers and their accomplices,” but after a few correctly asked questions everything falls into place.

The first thing the Russians said was an investigation on both sides of the demarcation line. It turns out that in Donetsk, Lugansk and other settlements of the rebel republics there were no human rights defenders. The entire investigation took place only in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government. According to the "investigators", there access was somehow closed to them.

When asked whether there are satellite photographs of Russian military bases or equipmentcrossing the border, the correspondents also did not receive a clear answer. Although at the current level of development of technology it is not difficult to see from the satellite a wart on the nose of the commander of any military unit, and not just a column of army equipment.

In general, somehow it all sounds unconvincing, not serious. Here, for example, the data of the Investigative Committee of Russia or the special services of the LPR and DPR on the crimes of the Ukrainian military look more common. There is no shortage of testimonies of local residents about the atrocities of the Ukrainian invaders, photographs of houses, schools, hospitals destroyed by shells. Simple, easier for them to work. There is no need to seek evidence, as there is enough of it at every step.

Another truce in the Donbass

In order not to fall under the influence of propaganda, you should use different sources of information and on their basis make up your own opinion. For example, to get a more or less correct picture of the conflict, you should compare information from the opposing parties, paying attention to inconsistencies and coincidences. What we will do now. This will help us to correctly evaluate the information of human rights defenders, to help them in establishing the truth.

It is known that on March 5, from 00.00 hours, an agreement on a complete ceasefire entered into force. Experience shows that strict compliance cannot be expected. Consider what happened immediately before the entry into force of the agreement according to the Ukrainian headquarters of the ATO and DNR reports.

According to Ukrainian information, the "fighters" 7 times fired at the positions of the "defenders" using small arms, tank and other weapons.

According to the DNI, 13 forces were fired by the armed forces of Ukraine. Fire was opened in Dokuchaevsk, Staromikhaylovka, as well as Kuybyshevsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk. The 93rd separate mechanized brigade under the command of Colonel Vladislav Klochkov, a war criminal, was especially distinguished. "Heroes of the Liberators" sent 40 pieces of 120 mm mines in the residential areas of Dokuchaevsk.

Feel the difference? The "militants" and the "terrorists" fired at the positions of the troops, and the "liberators" cackled over civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.

And then a truce began. Until 5 in the morning, absolute silence remained on both sides, after which they began to shoot. And at 6 o’clock in the village. Golmovskiy, a heroic sniper from the Ukrainian donbat Donbass, entered into an unequal battle with a snowplow, aptly hitting a flashing beacon of road equipment.

A little later, in the area of the Avdeevskaya industrial zone, a group of reporters escorting Russian deputy Alexei Zhuravlev was fired from mortars. He was about to see how the truce is being carried out.

I looked.

Fortunately, no one was hurt. True, the car was damaged.

Here is a truce in the Donbass.

In general, the names of many war criminals are already known. Others will also be installed. I think they are unlikely to escape punishment.
