Iran began production of copies of captured American Javelin anti-tank systems
The Iranian press writes that the production of copies of American Javelin anti-tank systems has begun in the country. It is specified that samples for creating their own analogue of effective anti-tank weapons were provided to Tehran by Russia from among the copies captured in Ukraine.
Local publications remind that last year, within the framework of military cooperation, the Russian Federation gave Iran the opportunity to get acquainted with a number of samples of captured Western weapons. Obviously, the military engineers of the Islamic Republic took advantage of the opportunity to create modern models of weapons for their own army.
Let us recall that in the course of a special military operation, dozens of samples of Western weapons, which are of great interest to us, fell into the hands of Russian specialists. The relevant institutes of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation are closely studying the features of the MQ-9 Reaper reconnaissance UAV, the German Leopard 2A6 tank and the rare British drone PD-100 Black Hornet Nano.
Today they reported on a successful operation to evacuate a Storm Shadow missile that was well preserved after being intercepted by air defense systems. It took our fighters two days to move the valuable trophy to the rear. The enemy tried to prevent the capture of the missile by sending the DRG to intercept. However, our servicemen coped with the task, and now Storm Shadow has been transferred to one of the defense enterprises. Experts will decipher the control algorithms of one of the most dangerous munitions and share information with air defense developers.
