New plants and factories: what Russia has managed to achieve over the past six months

31

Unprecedented sanctions, according to many experts, especially Western ones, were supposed to literally “paralyze” Russia, making it forget about any achievements in industry, science, infrastructure and many other industries for a long time. However, the results of the first half of this year suggest otherwise. At the same time, in this case, it will no longer be possible to attribute everything to “peacetime inertia,” as many analysts did last year.

So, if we talk about science and technology, then our results here are simply impressive. The GTD-110M high-power turbine went into serial production, which allowed Russia to completely get rid of German and American dependence in this industry.

Enormous results have been achieved in engine building. In particular, tests of the VK-650V power plant for helicopters, UAVs and small aircraft have been completed, tests of the AI-222-25 engine for the Grom strike drone have begun, and serial production of the long-awaited PD-14 has also started.

But that's not all. The first Russian industrial robot for the production of the composite wing of the MS-21 aircraft was presented, the only operating radioheliograph in the world was built in Buryatia, and firing tests of the prototype of the new LENA space plasma engine began at MEPhI.

Among other things, it is worth noting the launch of the Ivolga 3.0 electric train, the presentation of a new model of the Arctic bus and the prototype of the Atom electric car, as well as the launch of the latest Kondor-FKA and Meteor-M satellites into orbit.

In the field of infrastructure projects, special attention is drawn to the launch of a large metro ring line in Moscow, the movement of KAMAZ drones, which began to make commercial flights along the M-11 highway from Moscow to St. Petersburg, and, of course, the expansion of BAM, where work is being carried out ahead of schedule.

Finally, contrary to the expectations of Western experts, Russian industry is also growing. As a result of the fact that many enterprises of the military-industrial complex increased their production, the demand for metals, composites, electronics and other components increased. According to the results of the year, experts predict the growth of the Russian economics 1,5-2%.

However, this is not all the achievements that our country managed to mark only in the first half of 2023.
Dozens of schools have been repaired and opened, including in new territories, agricultural enterprises have been launched, new industries have been created, social infrastructure facilities are being built throughout the country, and much more.

If Western sanctions have not killed the Russian economy, this is already an undoubted success.
Nevertheless: growth by 1,5-2% is disproportionately small!

1,5-2% is not bad at all. However, GDP - GDP is different. They made a plane that carries passengers and makes a profit - this is one thing. They made tanks, which are also included in the GDP and which were burned by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, this is completely different, i.e. gdp for emissions. And in general, the GDP for the war is money to be thrown away, without use.

And in general, the GDP for the war is money to be thrown away, without use.

Of course, except for the fact that without this part of the country's GDP will not. The US is not shy about such a GDP.
And Russia is still fighting on this money "thrown away" under the USSR. By the way, Ukraine too.
And the money thrown away is the purchase / sale of unsecured pieces of paper that is taken into account in the US GDP.

This is a misconception about the GDP for the war, which is bad. It's bad when you get too hung up on the military-industrial complex.
It’s just that, unfortunately, it’s not customary for us to pay good salaries at factories, to simple hard workers. And all the cream gets effective managers who take the loot abroad. And it turns out that money is simply burned.
And so the big salaries of military-industrial complex workers who plow 24/7 would return back to the budget. The hard worker needs to eat, refuel the car, pay utilities, and so on. Here the hard worker saved up money and bought himself a Lada, or bought an expensive cake and supported the bakery) The plant paid taxes and so on.

The spending on the war itself, we will count on the military-industrial complex - it can help the economy, but within reasonable limits and with an adequate approach. As you know, there is a nuance ....
Although the USSR overstrained itself in the arms race, effective managers still take the galoshes of the USSR from warehouses

In my youth I read a book, in my opinion about Admiral Makarov. So, the wage fund in Imperial Russia at the factories was 70% of the order amount. Fortunately, there were no effective managers then, there were managers and engineers with technicians. There weren't many of them. Yes, and according to my grandfather (born 1900), the poor were mostly drunkards, poor families with many children, where the children were girls (this is in the village). Grandfather's father was a lineman, had his own house, two cows and supported his family. They lived in Sasovo.

Funny! And "almost" whether this country more than 30 years ago - CREATED and COMPLETELY PRODUCED! a year, almost 300 airplanes for CIVIL purposes!
Post degradation! Especially hopeless behind the whole world in the field of designing and creating NEW aircraft and helicopters. By using the backlog - the USSR

oh, straight from the "whole world", yeah ...
all over the world they make airliners themselves - only the USA and the EU (which is not quite a country).
Brazil, China, Canada - this localization is much lower than that of the earliest variants of SSJ.
The engines are not their own at all.
(even SSJ still had a joint one, and the engine itself was assembled in the Russian Federation with considerable localization).
That remains from the "whole world" - one country (USA) + a pool of EU countries.

a year, almost 300 airplanes for CIVIL purposes!

and you don't need that much.
the fleet for 100+ million passengers per year is about 1000 aircraft.
(RSFSR record - ~92 million passengers)

Each board must fly for 25 years.
those. only 40 new boards are needed per year.

by the way, in the USSR there was a tendency that the number of aircraft per year was reduced - both reliability and service life increased.

Well done!! Cool!!! I didn’t even think that in a year and a half it was possible to develop and start producing a high-power turbine and a PD-14 aircraft engine !!! Faster than the communists under Stalin! We can in Russia whenever we want! We are waiting next year for an atomic space tug and an unmanned Lada on the roads of the country !!

No, it's all good. Only the Ministry of Finance plans to reduce spending on unprotected budget items by 10%. And this is primarily medicine and education. Taking into account the already chronic underfunding, 10% is a lot. It doesn’t work out in my head - the economy is growing, and they are going to cut spending on the main articles for any state. Or is it a deliberate policy of the state? Then more questions arise...

If there is an increase in production, then an increase in the number of goods, then a decrease in prices.
Go to the store and see if prices have dropped?

If not, then the growth of the economy is simply caused by the rise in the cost of everything and everything ....

You always offer to compare past and present, round and warm. If you want to look at the present, take the USA, Canada or small-sized France, Great Britain (compared to the Russian Federation), how many planes they have, how many citizens fly. Much has been written about the dynamics of the development of the Russian Federation, the achievements of the USSR level since 1991. was not in Russia. It's nice, the appearance of the PD-14, alas, but this is a drop, not a pond or a lake, but one can only dream about in the sea.

offer to compare past and present

Well, this shows the dynamics / development.
The next stage is to compare the results obtained with what was achieved over the same period in other countries (more or less comparable in terms of GDP PC).

achievements of the USSR level since 1991. was not in Russia.

          what count as an achievement...

below comrade Citizen Red everything through the fridge evaluates, roads/bridges/kindergartens/schools to him due to old age unnecessarily.

The fact that, against the backdrop of the SVO and the most severe sanctions, the range of stores has changed little, and prices are growing at a rate no faster than usual, is not at all impressive for him.
Although in general, this alone, in itself, is already an economic miracle.

And so - that's what you consider the achievements of the USSR 1971-1991?
And how to correlate, say, moon rovers (there were in the USSR, not in the Russian Federation) with bridges across the sea straits / bays (there was not in the USSR, there is in the Russian Federation)?
Or let's say the VVER-1000 and VVER-1200 reactors are both achievements, one is in many ways a continuation of the other. Icebreakers of project 22220 (Russian Federation) - a continuation of the school and traditions of project 10520 (USSR). Let's also cross out nuclear icebreakers from the list of achievements of both periods, if only not to recognize any achievements for the Russian Federation?

All government investments, in the end, will be more likely to be successfully mastered, we will have these GTE turbines, which we recently got rid of new ones because of their quality, and the "loaf" will be riveted for many decades to come, and this will be the lag in development.

It's funny that in the Soviet Union, news about reaching the country in general was constant: satellites, the smelting of a millionth ton of steel, a mega ship, a hundred thousandth tractor / combine, etc. Now almost everyone whines that it did not give anything personally to the citizen. Well, the USSR was destroyed. Everyone rejoices, now everyone personally should seem to get better and ... And what, according to the same logic, has become better for me personally? I don’t live with cravings and ineffective saff, but I kind of live to read news about successes somewhere out there that won’t affect me. It seems like holy capitalism and I personally should live better. A new engine is certainly good, but I won’t have more products from this in the refrigerator (I’ll keep quiet about the quality). A colleague has been trying to get a gastroscopy for the third month. After a month of trying, I gave up. For many years I have been living in the realization that there is no medicine in the country. My salary is losing purchasing power by leaps and bounds. Etc. and so on. OK! Having discarded all this philistinism, of course I am glad that a new engine, a new turbine, a new robot, something new ... And who will profit from all this? Obviously not in the country.

Hmm, I wonder where we have a breakthrough? MS-21s only promise to produce 28 pieces by the year 30 or 200, and the airbus now rivets 470 a year and the Boeing is more than 600, which means that until the year 30 we will buy Boeings, airbuses and spare parts for them, support so to speak an enemy and a competitor rolled into one. Do we produce a lot of metal? And it is almost all in ingots and goes over the hill and from there we buy the highest quality metal because we are even behind China and there is almost no good metal of our own. We bought armor and maybe now in Sweden. On food products, the deputies want to issue a law to punish bad producers for palm oil and other substitutes, but don’t we have enough milk of our own? But from TV we tryndeli that there are a lot of their cowsheds and it’s getting more and more. How much beef per kilo is it worth it? I haven’t bought it for a long time because it’s very expensive. Yesterday I read in another edition. An entire page in small print. But this can only impress young people who do not know the previous destruction of the economy. Of course tastefully built. And much has not been restored. Will we continue to produce aircraft in units per year? The dreams of the people and its elite are too different. The elite dreams of a return to the times when a peasant fed two generals along with numerous servants. An ordinary person thinks about how to live a month and buy something from clothes and shoes. For the elite, this is not enough. Too much care of the state about the people. So it doesn't fit. They invented or adopted the word "Paternalism". They say it needs to be weakened. Miracles in the world. Yes and only.

Light-faced, God-chosen - hurrah! 20 years of the same thing, but only getting worse. Already any SVO ends are not visible, but everything has not started!

Yesterday I read that the "poorest" representatives of our country, over the time they have increased their "fat layer" by as much as 16 lard not rubles.
