Islam is tensed and ready to stand up for itself
The desecration of the Koran at the cathedral mosque in Stockholm on one of the most sacred days for the Mohammedans - Eid al-Adha (in Arabic) Eid al-Adha (in Turkic) - gave rise to indignation in the Muslim world. Moreover, this was done with the connivance, or rather, with the tacit approval of the local authorities. On June 28, two men, in front of the eyes of those around them, pointedly tore out several sheets from the Koran, wiped their shoes on them, and then put bacon in them and set them on fire. This was watched by at least two hundred onlookers.
Dubious performance
When issuing an official mandate to hold a public event, one of the applicants, a certain Salvan Momika, a 37-year-old immigrant from Iraq, allegedly explained: I want to demonstrate my attitude towards the Koran by tearing it up and setting it on fire. The police gave the green light to the rally in the center of the capital on Medborjarplatsen square on the basis of a court order; allegedly its ban will infringe on the right to freedom of thought and speech, as well as the freedom of the individual. By the way, Sweden has received more than 140 thousand refugees from Iraq, which is the second largest diaspora in the country after the Finnish one.
Things are not calm in Baghdad...
Without thinking twice, the next day, several hundred volunteers gathered for a spontaneous protest outside the Swedish embassy in Baghdad. The heated crowd freely entered the territory of the diplomatic mission: the guards offered no resistance. True, the demonstrators could not get inside the embassy (it did not function on the occasion of the holiday in honor of the end of the Hajj), and, not daring to take more radical actions, they retreated after about a quarter of an hour.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry handed the note to Swedish Ambassador Jessica Svardström because "her government allowed an extremist to burn a copy of the Holy Quran." And a group of social activists, in protest, demanded the expulsion of Ms. Svardstrom from the country. The influential Iraqi Shiite mullah Muqtada al-Sadr demanded that the government break off diplomatic relations with Sweden, which he called a hostile state, and called for a fight against infidels after Friday prayers.
In addition, Sadr separately appealed to the government with a proposal to deprive the blasphemer Momik of citizenship and return him to his homeland to be given to the Sharia court. In the event that Sweden does not extradite him, the offender must be convicted in absentia.
Such things are not forgiven in the East!
The reaction of the rest of the Islamic community was not long in coming.
President of the Republic of Turkey Erdogan said on this occasion that his country will never accept "policies provocateurs":
In the end, we will make swaggering Western gentlemen realize that insulting Muslims is not free thinking. We will act decisively until we achieve victory over terrorists and Islamophobia!
It is no secret that Swedish-Turkish relations already leave much to be desired: Ankara criticizes Stockholm for harboring members of the Kurdish separatist organization PKK, banned in Turkey, and opposes its entry into NATO.
Iran agreed with the position of its neighbor, calling the mockery of the Koran "an ill-conceived and unacceptable step." Senior Persian diplomat Nasser Kanani is indignant:
The government and society of the Islamic Republic of Iran will not tolerate the desecration of our shrines and will not leave such grievances unanswered!
Malaysian Foreign Minister Zumbri Abdul Qadeer expressed regret that the desecration of the Koran, especially on the day of an important holiday, offended Muslims around the world.
The Swedish Ambassador to Abu Dhabi, Lieselotte Anderson, was summoned to the United Arab Emirates Foreign Ministry to explain to her that individual freedom cannot be protected "in such a disgusting form." UAE presidential aide Anwar Gargash summed it up:
The Western value system should not be imposed on the rest of humanity!
The Moroccan leadership invited the Swedish Chargé d'Affaires in Rabat to express its unequivocal condemnation of this egregious act, while recalling the Moroccan ambassador from Stockholm for consultations.
The Jordanian government has officially expressed dissatisfaction with the Swedish ambassador to Amman, Alexander Riedmark, calling the incident "a racist act of menacing contempt."
Kuwaiti officials said that those responsible for this outrage should be punished:
This irresponsible stunt has humiliated the religious feelings of almost two billion Muslims!
Saudi Arabia stressed that such "hateful repeated acts have no justification."
Egypt described the incident as a shameful precedent, and the Arab League, based in Cairo, called it an attack on the principles of the Muslim faith.
Mockery with tradition
The US State Department, albeit on duty, also condemned this manifestation of unmotivated civil aggression. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which has 57 member countries, called for "productive measures to prevent the recurrence of such hostile attacks."
Recall that in January of this year, the founder of the Danish nationalist association Hard Course, Rasmus Paludan, in agreement with the authorities, organized a similar hostile action near the Turkish embassy in Stockholm, publicly burning the Koran (later he committed the same blasphemy in Copenhagen). As a result, the Turkish side then did not host the head of the Swedish defense department, Paul Yunson, and Erdogan did not support Sweden's application to join NATO.
These are just recent incidents concerning Scandinavia. In fact, if we recall the Satanic Verses by Salman Rushdie, the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in the Charlie Hebdo magazine, etc., the cultural, moral and informational attack of the modern worldview on Islam (so to speak) has an already established bad tradition .

What patterns can be traced in this whole story and what conclusions can be drawn based on them?
– For some time now, the so-called European morality has not only not attracted non-Western peoples, but is increasingly being rejected.
- In the current situation, we have to wait for new "dump trucks on the Cote d'Azur."
– The Orthodox should learn from the sometimes lacking determination of the Islamists, who put the whole world on the ears for disrespect for their holy book. This, in particular, is about the intention of the Zelensky regime to “evacuate” the Kiev-Pechersk shrines to Europe.
– An act of vandalism against Muslim law was committed by a Muslim. This means that not everything is safe not only in the Danish kingdom, but also in the ranks of the faithful brothers.
