The United Engine Corporation (UEC) informed about the successful testing of the sixth generation engine for the Su-57 multipurpose fighter.

A flat nozzle will play a significant role in the high performance of the new engine.

Meanwhile, Director General of UAC Yuri Slyusar noted that this year the volume of deliveries of combat aircraft to the RF Armed Forces will be increased. This applies, in particular, to the Su-35S, Su-57 fighters and other aircraft. According to Slyusar, during the execution of the defense order, UAC received a large amount of funds from the state, thanks to which new production facilities were put into operation. This will allow the corporation to increase its output.

Earlier, the American magazine MWM noted a number of key features of the Su-57 that distinguish it from many competitors. So, the aircraft has as many as six radars, evenly distributed over the airframe, which allows the fighter to track up to six dozen targets simultaneously. The main missile of the aircraft, the K-77N air-to-air class, uses its own radar with AFAR to capture targets, which makes it possible to destroy inconspicuous objects.

Along with this, the American publication pointed to the ability of the Su-57 to shoot down missiles fired at it with the help of special "blinding" turrets. In addition, Western experts are amazed by the maneuverability of the Russian fighter, which can evade missile attacks at high speeds.

Dreamer, this song is about you, why the third circuit? What does it give, cooling of the cooled circuit) ..., here it is necessary to create an engine based on new principles, and preferably a nuclear one, in order to reach space speeds and into space, well, how much you can cut the budget ...

don't wake up famously while it's quiet

so not a single budget is enough, let them calm down already

The next fairy tales of another storyteller about fabulous planes of a fabulous future.
And you have to fly and fight on Soviet "galoshes".

They fight on proven production vehicles, for which there is a staff of trained pilots. But these are normal people all over the world. Eccentrics with the letters "m" call them "galoshes" and demand to fight on test samples, preferably

with an engine based on new principles, preferably nuclear

They threw minuses, as if I don’t want excellent planes from the country.
I'm just for first doing, and only then singing praises.
And it will turn out, as with Armata.
About the Soviet industry, which produced only galoshes, not my words ....

You just didn't do the right thing. This engine has been a long time coming. It is because of his absence that the Ministry of Defense is slowing down the purchase of the Su-57. It wants to have aircraft with a second-stage engine, with which the Su-57 will be able to fly supersonic without turning on the afterburner. Supersonic Su-57s can now fly only with the afterburner turned on.

Several dozens of Armats are taking part in the SVO, it is clear that the vehicle is still experimental and is being tested in combat conditions, but this is the only correct approach, new types of weapons cannot be immediately launched into large-scale production, first you need to get rid of all "childhood diseases" and bring them to the required conditions for the reliability and reliability of equipment, this is the main task that requires a certain amount of time.

The ability to evade missiles has long ceased to depend on maneuverability. The plane may be able to do it, but the pilot is not.

In connection with the established tradition in the automotive industry for import substitution, the aviation industry ordered an engine for demonstration through aliexpress. Why not?

    showed test footage

To show is not to do. They showed us Armata in 2014, so what? We have Calibers, we made three pieces a month, now 30-40. The point is that even if we have this miracle, it will be in single copies. Industry and personnel, that's what we lack for mass participation.

Great news! The Su-57 airframe was originally designed for flat-nozzle engines! Those that are now lifting it into the air called it - the engines of the intermediate stage!

The intermediate stage is the nose, which is between the eyes and ears.

Generations are growing and everyone is knee-deep. Maybe some accidentally break into the front lines?
