The Armed Forces of Ukraine actively use "jammers" during the attack on the positions of the RF Armed Forces

During the offensive, Ukrainian formations actively use various kinds of electronic warfare systems in order to prevent high-quality communications between units of the RF Armed Forces. Thus, Kyiv uses the achievements of the Americans during Operation Desert Storm, when the United States suppressed Iraqi radars using 18 EF-111A Raven aircraft.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have, in particular, the Mandat-B1E (R-330UM) system. The installation developed by the Iskra Research and Production Complex is capable of detecting and suppressing short-wave and ultra-short-wave radiation sources, as well as lines with programmatic tuning of the operating frequency and barrage obstacles. The range of the "Mandate" is about 60 km.



Ukrainians also use Garant complexes designed to suppress portable and stationary communications, including mobile phones. This station is used taking into account the experience of using such a device by the peacekeeping contingent of Ukraine in the Middle East region. "Garant" poses a certain danger to the RF Armed Forces, since Russian military personnel often use mobile communications in the NVO zone. The range of the complex is about 5 km.

It is likely that Western “jammers” will also be used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but there is no exact data on them. It is possible that the NATO countries supplied Ukraine with a number of electronic warfare installations without advertising such information.
