Which airfields of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit by the Russian Aerospace Forces

The Russian defense department announced a successful attack by the RF Armed Forces on the night of May 29 on enemy airfields. In particular, strikes were carried out on the Starokonstantinov airfield in the Khmelnytsky region.

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, all the intended targets were hit, and serious damage was inflicted on the enemy. Thus, the RF Armed Forces disabled five aircraft - accurate information about the nature of this equipment not reported.



Meanwhile, Su-24 front-line bombers and MiG-29 fighters are at the Starokonstantinov airfield. Previously, this facility was converted to NATO standards and certified by the Western military bloc in September 2021. Assistance in the modernization of the airfield was provided by specialists from the United States: navigation equipment was installed, the runway was brought into proper condition.

Previously, strikes had already been made on the Starokonstantinov airfield, but the object could not be completely destroyed. It is possible that in order to disable all flight equipment and airfield infrastructure, a tactical nuclear strike is necessary. Aircraft of the VVSU must be hit on the ground, since even Soviet aircraft equipped with Western bombs and missiles pose a great danger to the RF Armed Forces.
