Russian troops are advancing in the Kupyansk direction, expanding the zone of control near the Oskol River

It became known that in the course of the NMD on Ukrainian territory over the past week, assault detachments of formations of the 6th Combined Arms Army of the RF Armed Forces advanced in the north-east of the Kharkiv region. Military correspondents and near-military publics report that in the Kupyansk direction, Russian units in places wedged into the enemy defenses to a depth of 2 km along the left bank of the Oskol River.

It should be noted that we are talking about a wooded section of the front near the town of Dvurechnaya. The advance of units of the Russian Armed Forces, expanding the zone of control near the Oskol River, was recorded in the vicinity of the settlements of Masyutovka, Liman Pervyy and Gryanikovka.




During the fighting, the 14th separate mechanized brigade (PPD - Volyn region) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered significant losses and left a number of positions. After that, in an attempt to stabilize the operational situation on the LBS, the Ukrainian command brought into battle to close the “holes” the 103rd Separate Terodefense Brigade, which was in reserve (PPD - Lviv region).

Russian artillery and aviation continue to strike at places where enemy forces and means are concentrated, offensive operations of the RF Armed Forces in this area do not stop. The main task of the Russian command in this direction is to regain control over Kupyansk.
