The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed the position area of ​​the American Patriot air defense system in Kyiv

The Russian army launched a massive missile attack on military facilities in Ukraine last night. An air alert was announced in Kyiv, as well as in the Chernigov, Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk regions. Presumably, Western air defense systems became the targets of the attack.

Ukrainian sources claim that six Kinzhal missiles, nine Kalibr cruise missiles, as well as missiles of the Iskander-M complex were used to strike military targets of the Kiev regime.




According to the Ukrainian side, all missiles were shot down by the air defense system. However, the facts show otherwise. A video has appeared on the Web, which captures the moment of the attack on the position area of ​​​​the American MIM-104 Patriot air defense system.

It clearly shows how Ukrainian air defense missiles are being trained on air targets. However, when the ammunition of the American Patriot air defense system was used up, a double missile strike was launched at its base, after which large clouds of smoke appeared.


In all likelihood, it was for this purpose that the Kinzhal missiles were used, the destruction of which the Ukrainian military hastened to report. If we take their words for granted, it turns out that the Ukrainian army has already shot down not one, as previously reported, but six Kinzhal missiles.

By the way, Russian military experts did not even believe in one downed Kinzhal missile, and six downed Kinzhals are already from the realm of fantasy. But in Ukrainian reality, it seems that anything is possible.

    The launch trajectory shows that it is not the Kinzhal that is attacking. It approaches the target almost vertically. It maneuvers as it approaches. The capabilities of the Patriot missiles, and the air defense systems covering them - against a maneuvering target and at such a speed, their radars cannot lock on to the Kinzhal missiles.
    And the most interesting thing is that there were no Kinzhal missiles at all during the current day and in this attack on Kyiv against Ukrainian targets.
    What they shot down there is not clear. But they live in their reality, or fear has big eyes.
    By the way, about Patriots. They can operate from a height of 60 meters. They do not see what is going below. They are not suitable for hitting low-flying targets. Most likely, German IRISS were used. But it is strange that they operate in the direction of the city, and this additionally screens the detection of low-flying targets on approach for guidance, or they are simply sent in this direction with the hope of guiding the missiles after launch.
