Russian LNG began to be exported to the USA
Despite the public flow of negativity expressed by US officials to Russia, Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) is moving in the opposite direction. This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.
We are talking about tankers filled with liquefied gas, which are sent from the Yamal LNG field in the direction of American ports. Three deliveries have already been made, that is, at least three tankers with Russian LNG have been delivered to the United States.
Particularly ambiguous is the fact that Americans bought gas from the Russian Federation against the backdrop of criticism by Donald Trump of the leadership of other countries also participating in Russian gas projects. In particular, the American president made an angry speech against Recep Erdogan and Angela Merkel at the Brussels summit of the North Atlantic Alliance, which took place in July this year. He said that Germany and Turkey, buying gas from the Kremlin, "feed Russia."
All this happens at a time when the US administration is categorically against the construction of Nord Stream-2. Despite this, it continues at the same pace.
In addition, a new natural gas liquefaction plant is being built as part of the Yamal LNG project.
