Attack UAV S-70 "Hunter" will go into series over the next two years

19

Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Sergey Semka told the agency TASS about the imminent start of mass production of the latest S-70 Okhotnik strike drone. It will be deployed at the facilities of the Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov.

This plant is a branch of Sukhoi Company PJSC and produces Su-34 bombers, as well as components for the Superjet-100 airliner. In December 2021, the first roll-out of the flight model of the S-70 Okhotnik strike drone took place at NAZ. The newest Russian UAV will go into production within the next two years.

To ensure the speedy start of mass production of Okhotnikov, a new building was built at NAZ, and at the moment, staff is being recruited. The total investment in the project will be about 2,5 billion rubles.

Recall that the Russian strike UAV S-70 "Hunter" was designed as a wingman to work in tandem with the Su-57 fighter. The drone can carry up to 20 tons of payload and develop a transonic speed of up to 1000 km/h. The device is made according to the "flying wing" scheme using all modern of technologies stealth.

In the future, one manned Su-57 fighter will control a flight of four Okhotnik UAVs. We recently reported on the creation of a new communication systems using artificial intelligence to ensure the interaction of the UAV link with the lead aircraft.

Of course it will, the next promises.
Well, it’s worth clarifying what mass production is. Otherwise, we call serial production 4 pieces of Su57 per year

There are so many planes against the stupid ones who managed to lose their technology for flying to the moon. Apparently this amount is for debugging production and further testing. laughing

Low speed, clumsy (flying wing), too big, expensive, will be an easy target for modern air defenses. Operations without entering the enemy air defense zone do not need heavy UAVs. It won’t have time for the SVO, and there’s nowhere to rush, because such an UAV was conceived away from real combat requirements, and therefore is practically unsuitable for modern battles. Even Türkiye intends to produce UAVs that are already supersonic and maneuverable (Anka 3). Who drew up the performance characteristics of the requirements for the Hunter seems to be responsible for the absence of strike UAVs in the RF Armed Forces. One could not expect anything else from such inmates in the Russian Defense Ministry.

Well, about supersonic and maneuverable (Anka 3) on Ukrainian engines, this is unlikely. There are no such supersonic engines in Ukraine, and the aerodynamics of the Anka will not allow this. Most likely, her speed will be no higher than that of our hunter.

About an easy target for air defense, this is ridiculous, of course, if a Soviet UAV the size of a KAMAZ 1000 km flew across our territory and fell on a strategic airfield.
UAVs are consumables, and they will be destroyed by air defense. Only before destruction, it makes a fuss, by destroying 1-2 tanks, the strike UAV pays off completely.
Air defense will not destroy only the conditional f35, which is conceptually imprisoned for a database from long distances and has stealth.
However, you are right that it only drank money, since naturally no one will bring it to mind and will not go into series. Considering that there are no large-scale productions of an analogue of a batsraktar, how will a more complex project be launched

The parquet generals of the Moscow Region wrote such performance characteristics on the AK-12 that after 2,5 years they had to upgrade the AK-12 to AK-12m1. That is, to the AK-74? But how did the AK-12 win the competition "warrior"? And only by the end of June they will be allowed into the series. And this is just a simple machine gun. They also wrote performance characteristics for the T-90, infantry fighting vehicles, air defense systems, reb, and so on. This is not to mention what the generals from the Moscow Region did about UAVs and high-precision projectiles with ugly communications for the troops. Now KB is modernizing everything under the condition of CBO. The same thing will happen with the “Hunter” on the very first sortie. It is not surprising that the Pentagon, after calculations, came to the conclusion that the UAV was created. They are much cheaper than b-2

about the imminent start of mass production of the latest attack drone S-70 "Hunter"

only two years later should go into the series. And we call it soon. And yet this is not a fact. With us, UAC and Rostec can easily shift the deadlines to the right, as they did regularly and constantly. And the reasons are sure to come up.

RosTech, as I understand it, is an organization for creating fakes. An example about a shell with a mini-rocket from August last year! And in May of this year, it turned out that they were only being tested And that this organization was headed by former scammers who were under the article We must not listen to them from anonymous and not anonymous sources from RosTech, but to the design bureau designers themselves. But no one will give them a voice in the press

In modern Russia, everything is in the future tense: it will go into series, it will be, it will be created, developed, launched .....
Enough to feed the people "breakfast", overeat already.

      Stop feeding people "breakfast"

So the features of our media ....

If we take only the aspect of the military-industrial complex -
"Boreas" are already in the series, armed accordingly with the serial "Mace", and in the fleet there are already more of them "Dolphins" (re-equipped with serial blue / liner).

Such a machine as the Pantsir-S is quite itself in the series and in the troops, it does its job and does it well, although of course it is not an absolute weapon.

UAV Orlan-10 - made of course from "shit and sticks" (C), i.e. from imported civilian kits, and as they say - each time different, but they made 1000+ pieces and they continue to do their job.

Msta-S - in the series since the late USSR, but the bulk of the machines have already been produced in the Russian Federation.

Su-35 - the same is quite in the series, 100+ units.
      Su-34, Su-30SM - the same, 100+ each.

T-90 - in the series, it seems like 300 units were produced.

Do you mean T90M? Considering that the T90 is just a modernized 72, it’s not a lot.
The Su35 has been produced since 2010 and this aircraft is just a modernization of the Su27. There is nothing conceptually new except for updating the avionics.
140 Dryers35 for 10-12 years. This is not a series.
        Here f35 is mass-produced, 60+ per year.
Yes, in fact, everything that is allegedly mass-produced (drying) is only a legacy of the USSR, only repeatedly optimized.
We see how effective managers give birth to NEW weapons using the example of armats, kurgans, poseidons, daggers, su57, UAV Hunter, pacers and other nonsense with the prefix analogs.
Although I’m lying, MRAPS and Tigers are mass-produced, thanks to Serdyukov ..
The rest was released in piece quantities for the sake of PR.

          Well, here's some progress

nothing is done, everything is in the future tense

          к

all what is being done - legacy of the USSR

And I have no doubt that you will find the roots of the USSR in the Boreas / Mace.
(The wheel was invented like this back in 4 thousand BC.)

Well, the F-22 is Reagan's legacy.
which thread Leopard-2 has deeper roots.
What exactly should Russia be reproached for using the achievements of the same years?
(reproach from the opposite flank - the use of Western components).

The reproach may be that we completely lack alternative development in our brains! We take all developments from the West, and do not invent them ourselves. So we don't have anything. They couldn’t even think of UAV MANPADS

Correctly written! F-35 produced by the thousands. And all our weapons are based on Western ideas. But the Pentagon aims exclusively at the latest alternative developments, and constantly launches into series. So the idea to reduce the cost of everything in the ground and armored forces has been going on since the days of the Second World War. But there the conditions were tough, everything had to be saved. But the T-72 tank was created purely for the optimal financial cost, so that it would not be expensive and easy to maintain, like a machine gun. And in the west they went the other way! everything for the safety of the crew. As a result, the tank began to weigh more than 60 tons, electronic devices against MANPADS and shells began to be developed. And so far, no country has been able to achieve that the tank weighs less, and the crew would not suffer during the battle. And the tank is God bless him. This also applies to armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles. One of the examples is the Black Eagle and object 95. where their weight reached 55 tons, and not 48 tons for the T-90m But now the T-90m weighs 51 tons

It remains to write what losses in aviation we have! And where is our aviation now? The Ministry of Defense ruins without looking the most expensive military equipment in the NWO. There is no damage from their feed. What did the generals turn the T-90m into to reduce the cost of this tank! In the T-72 b3mSo the generals said that everything cheap was needed for Russia, Russia would not pull. Each article about the military developments of our design bureaus began like this from the first line, it is exported! In general, our military-industrial complex worked for 50% for export for all products. And to saturate the country with military equipment, only what they received from the export of military equipment

Look how Pantsir-SM and M (naval) have not entered the troops since 19. And all in order to shove it first of all for export, and not for the country. Therefore, by the end of 22, it turned out that the air defense was all in huge holes. I don't want to fly. It turns out that the whole country is without an air defense umbrella Around the Moscow region, air defense was completely destroyed. Shoigu not long ago stated that by the end of 23, air defense would be restored. He and his deputies-managers destroyed the air defense around Moscow and throughout the country. And what about the Kursk, Belgorod and other regions bordering Ukraine, who will protect them. Not only that, all the border troops were also liquidated to a minimum

I'm afraid that in 2 years the "Hunter" will no longer meet the requirements of modern warfare.

It will be so! It will be written off as not meeting the financial capabilities in modern warfare.
