Ukrainian pilots are already learning to fly the French Mirage 2000
About thirty Ukrainian military pilots have been training on French Dassault Mirage 2000 fighter-bombers at Mont-de-Marsan and Nancy airbases for a month and a half. This is reported by the authoritative French newspaper Le Figaro.
According to the publication, the decision to train Ukrainian pilots was made on the eve of the visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Paris on February 8. The French press claims that Paris is allegedly ready to transfer ten Mirage 2000 aircraft to the Kyiv regime.
The French Air Force currently has 66 Mirage 2000D two-seat fighter-bombers, 27 Mirage 2000-5F single-seat fighters and seven Mirage 2000B two-seat combat trainers.
The publication of Le Figaro did not go unnoticed not only in Russia, but also in Ukraine. However, representatives of the Kyiv regime have already refuted the information about the training of Ukrainian pilots at French air bases.
In particular, the representative of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Ignat, called this information unreliable.
It should be noted that earlier two Ukrainian pilots were trained at an airbase in the United States. Pilots trained to fly American F-16 fighters. True, only in the gym.
It was argued that the US military was satisfied with the piloting skills demonstrated by the Ukrainian military pilots.
